Solo leveling is just fun. Thats it and also the glorious art and Sometimes its okay. The sequel is definitely written better tho so thats kinda refreshing for sl fans lol. Its like the reverse naruto and boruto with sl and sl rangnarok lol in terms of writing. Although i would say sl art is still better that ragnarok from the first few chapters i read of it.
i think solo leveling is fun to watch/read but only if you’re going in just wanting that. some of the character writing is bad, there’s a good few logical leaps that were made to look jinwoo look cool, and the story’s pacing isn’t the best. but the art style is dope, some of the concepts they explore are pretty cool, and i think there’s a lot someone can take from the story and adapt. it’s a fun story that got a few creative juices flowing and i liked it. 7/10
horrible pacing, bad ending imo, and it only gets more boring as you continue reading. its very good up until he becomes necromancer, from then on he gets op and doesn't seem to struggle against anyone.
yeah, the manwha’s pacing was always terrible, it got rid of so much light novel content especially towards he end, cut so much character development and just character interactions in general, and the reason for the pacing getting worse towards the end is because of the illustrators health i’m pretty sure, but besides, the anime should be fixing some of these issues, and jin woo was way more interesting in the anime than the novel and manwha (atleast imo)
