So I FINALLY tried Watch Dogs 2

Watch Dogs 2 actually managed to make me sad for an NPC: I was driving and accidentally hit a guy walking his dog, The dog curled up beside the owner’s body and just laid there.

you cannot tell me that game came out 8 years ago, my old ass refuses to believe it

Watch Dogs 2 was one of my favourite games. I don't beat a lot of games these days but I beat the pants off this one, and spent many hours just taking down bad guys by calling gang members on them, then calling the police on the gang, resulting in a 3 way firefight.

This game was heavily slept on, til last couple ago people hopped on and hyped it up. It's such a fun game

I love running around in WD2, because of NPC interactions. I had so much fun just filming their fights using drone

I loved how people were like man Watch Dogs 1 is so depressing and just dark. They saw 2 and was like YEAH Let’s brighten it up and put some personality in these characters

I like how he didn't even realize that there was another player in his game.

This game is still my absolute favorite, the city felt really alive and there so many npc activity

Dude WD2 was such a sleeper hit. The soundtrack for the game goes so fuckin hard too

Heavily underrated. Their version of Chicago is one of the few open worlds that I've had my brain come back to craving to walk its streets once more for no other purpose than to roam it. It's actually just having fun! Also the radio soundtrack is a BOP! People who were introdued to The Polish Ambassador this way know what I'm talking about

i loved this game so much. it was just pure fun, plus the fashion was on point. i put marcus in a new outfit for every mission

This game is my second favorite game of all time right behind RDR2. The memories I have with this are all amazing, the world is alive, thriving and beautiful, the graphics hold up to this day, the story is fun and interesting, the side content and DLCs (which I own all of them) are fun as well and really brings the world to life and adds to the story, the online is still surprisingly thriving and the player base is not toxic and fun to play with, the parkour is great and very well done similar to Unity in a way, the vehicles are cool and there are plenty to choose from, and it has so many outfit options and I also own all the outfits that you can buy because they're all just great, the hacks are fun and have a nice variety and are very engaging, the emotes are entertaining, so many weapons to choose from, just everything is amazing and the game has so much variety. And the characters are amazing Marcus, Josh, Wrench, T-Bone, Horatio, Sitara are all amazing characters I've fell in love with every time I play it since the game dropped. And Dušan is a very good antagonist, he's got charm to him. EVERYTHING is an improvement over the first Watch Dogs and I love WD1 but wow this game blows it out of the park. I've beat this game only 4 times in 8 years because I love to cherish it and play it slowly and when I beat it I still play for months cause I have so much fun just exploring and taking in this beautiful world. I wish I could play this game for the first time again. Oh and the music and soundtrack is just phenomenal the original music fits perfectly and the in game songs on the radio are all great and also for PERFECT in the game. Also the fact that I can make a playlist with all the games songs is INSANE and is improved on from WD1. I wish games like GTA did that too it's such an amazing feature. Like I wouldn't care if my game took an hour to load I could lay in bed and listen to the loading screen track for hours while looking at the beautiful art and the nice little animation in the middle. Ubisoft truly out did themselves with this game and I will forever love and defend it. The ONLY negative thing I can say about this game is that it doesn't have multiple game save options so when you start a new game the previous save is gone forever, there are a few things I wish it had like a morality system but I'm not gonna fault it for that. But I also don't mind restarting because it's an amazing and fun experience that I will forever enjoy. I've been playing it for 8 years and I'm still not bored. There's new details I notice almost every time I play it, in my opinion the game is a masterpiece. Also as someone with Asperger's I really vibe with Josh, Ubi really did a good job at displaying Asperger's.

As someone who still plays Watch Dogs 2 on xbox game pass I can confirm that its hella good especially the online game modes like bounty hunter

The city of San Francisco and its people is truly the highlight of the game. The soundtrack is also a big win

This game was a clear improvement over the first. At least this one had actual dogs you can watch; now the title makes sense.

I'd love for you to do complete this game and try Legion since you know playing bad games is kinda your thing

WD2 was called "the anecdote machine" and man. yeah. i still remember stuff i did all these years later. The main story and characters were "meh" and the writers were unfamiliar with ludonarrative dissonance but it was fun and unique

Crazy timing, just started my Watch Dogs 2 playthru, alot of people still going hard on the Ps4/Ps5 in online 2024, this game will never die and i truly believe that.

I think I only really loved a couple things about watch dogs 2, being able to call in hostile forces to deal with all the guards without you having to lift a finger, and then the invasion mode with other players. Lot's of players would dress up super super flashy and stick out like a sore thumb, where I would dress like the npcs and try to blend in, leading to some interesting cat and mouse scenarios with me being stealthy, and them just running around randomly gunning down civilians and blowing things up.

To be fair I remember reviews at the time this game launched and nobody was calling it a GTA clone. The opinion was that its got its own vibe, a much more alive world than GTA V and possibly a more interactable world thanks to the many gameplay systems that work together

Such a good game. Marcus is one of my favorite protagonists in a game. The whole crew were great.

Watchdogs 2 was such a good time. And the parkour had the AC Unity levels of animation that made it so fluid

I LOVED this game. Near 100%d it. There isn't much to do once you complete it but the world and the way the NPC acts and even how he shoots the animations are superb and feels more alive then GTA V

I always come back to this game. Finishing it for the third time this year and it's even more fun now that I have a solid understanding of the upgrades and gameplay elements.

Watchdogs 2 had better hacking/tools. But Watchdogs 1 was better in every other way. The morality system was great, cuz citizens might not call the cops if they support the vigilante.

Watch dogs 2 is fun, but it seems like they made the map too large for the amount of content they had. Like outside of missions GTA has random encounters and such to really fill in the cracks where some areas end up feeling empty, but Watch Dogs never really had that (at least not to that extent) so it just felt like there wasn't a lot to find or do while exploring.

I finished this game with a Platinum Trophy on my PS5 and man this game was amazing, Do more!
