The PK was INSANE! The 100 tags from mid range... good... lord! This also reminds me why I never went through skulltown mid game, because all that was left... was Shiv, and gamers of his kind! You just knew the lone surviving GOD was mingling around in there 😂
They’ve done an incredible job visually just slowly tweaking things over the past two years. I forgot how barebones everything was. There’s things I love now and there’s things I miss from those times. Wish I could go back to Season 1-2.
I played a bit at the beginning of seasons 1 and 2 but stopped because I really disliked battle Royales then, but I played Titanfall so had an obligation to try it heh. I then skipped to season 8 lol. Now I'm tryna get better.
@brandon boatwright yeah a lot of games say that too titanfall 2 is a prime example with all the op things in that but they kinda did it too far for my liking tho
@@Wadule it's not. Golden armour heals two shields with one shield (if that makes sense) fast heal isn't in the game anymore. Like 50% health with a syringe or cell.

I know this probably won’t happen but I think Apex needs to do a throwback season where the old map was still around and when the peacekeeper used to be grounded and Skull town was still around

I could have sworn there used to be solos when I played in the first couple seasons. Was really irritated to not have that option when I returned in season 8. Really cool seeing the old map as well!
Thanks for sharing this. Its really cool to see this now to see how much the game and the playstyles have evolved - but the potential was always there for being the greatest BR to date.
@@Servlng it's just that the legends will be Hella unbalanced. Like revenant, octane and other team based legends would be straight up garbage and rampart would just rule the fucking mode
Never thought i would see shiv play 100+ fov. Tbh, his low fov is what really makes him unique as a streamer. Also, finally his beard matches his voice 😂
Fast heal and disruptor rounds being in the game in the first place will forever be the silliest addition to the game, what made them think 2 second batts was a good idea lmaoo
BROOOOO when lifeline had her fast heal passive and you combined it with the gold backpack. Holy shit was it broken, you could literally pop a Phoenix Kit in 3-4 seconds. And all of the other healing items you could use basically instantly.
@@BlueySchiffer Without the gold backpack it made a pheonix kit go from 10s to 7.5s. When the backpack was added it went from 7.5s to 5s. While you are right about them not “stacking” they definitely did allow you to heal faster than without a backpack.
This the apex I remember, when I started season 9 I was so lost and scared of everything new, but I QUICKLY realized it was not at all the same game I once remembered, it had been lost such as skull town RIP

What a throw back to frustrating days when i wanted to gin my controller off wall lmao. Shivfps dude no hair no beard omg!! Also 2k damage and nearly a 20 bomb with a peacekeeper only basically and half the time didnt have a bolt on it. Thank you for the throwback

@@AngrySecs let’s not over do it yes it has changed a lot but I’ve been playing since season 1 I’ve played on pc ps4 and Xbox one it’s a lot better but not so much as you wouldn’t know what the hell is going on everything is still simple all the game modes are explained before you play the legends menu let’s you know what’s changed with the legends and there abilities it’s still APEX LEGENDS they would have to get used to the new guns and recoil find the meta stuff like that

@@axpekt_ exactly. Other day I was playing solo q, as I do, and the 2 stack on my team got mad I went Banga and not Bloodhound or Crypto. Started saying they wouldn't pick me up if I got knocked. Fucking idiots.
