This is the perfect time to start vetting for a contest team. Just make posts that actually ask for people that you require. And then once you get this down to an hour or less that's the team you want to move forward with for the next weeks.

I would do Pantheon but i only 2 encounters, those being Golgorath and Atraks, so I'd be a deer in the headlights on Caretaker and planets

You can run add clear on both of those if you're not knowledgeable about them. For caretaker you can just play babysitter, by just distracting the boss and shooting its face/back whenever it glows. That's basically all the role does. For planets you can straight up run add clear. All you have to worry about is killing the tormentor quickly whenever it spawns.

I CANT resist on saying this but please for the love of god LFG please take this group as an example cause in the end we just wanna have a good time, I’m sure I’m not speaking for myself when I say this, we wanna do raids too and have some fun as well in the process, me specifically Raids is the only thing I have not done in this game so again, LFG groups watch this vid and take this as an example of what many, many players that haven’t done raids want as an experience for doing them. I said what I wanted to say.

I got lucky and got grouped with a bunch of competent noobs. We all never played any of the raids with the only experience being youtube videos. We even did the 1 phase parasite strat on atraks after about 5 attempts. Finished it in about 3 hours. Not bad for first timers, Im glad everyone stuck through to actually learn instead of quiting, hoping that someone would carry.

That’s on you, Lfg is a gamble but you only need to talk to strangers through a screen. Most of my clanmates are from lfg and I met some of my best friends from there. Raids are also extremely easy, just make a post yourself and ask for a teaching run.

I did the golgoroth encounter as a hunter and somehow i died when i was doing dps. Nobody had unstable light , i wasnt at low health, i didnt blow myself up. I was completely fine and i just got killed out of thin air.

I joined a clan with another random after first encounter the other random left and they filled with another clan member. I was basically their protector killing everything and keeping health up with a precious support build. After the first one i was doing mechanic there. But maaaannn we finished in an hour 50. Some rules of thumb from an LFG main: Do NOT join no-mic listings unless it’s something simple, like a GM or a dungeon encounter. Establish clear communication AND roles within a team. Who is running what? What order are you performing certain actions? Etc, etc. If someone is doing something wrong, tell them, and if they make excuses or are being stubborn in how they’re doing something, don’t just let them keep doing it. Call it out, and if they don’t change what they’re doing, kick them, or leave. Lastly, do what you’re comfortable with, and always be truthful! Tell people if you don’t know what to do. Be upfront. Assuming you do all of these, you should have a relatively easy time with LFG, barring some scenarios where idiots are abound. The main takeaway is to RESPECT your time. If you aren’t clearing something in reasonable time, something above has to be changed. Good luck all!

Suboptimal loadouts and lack of undeserstanding from many seemingly casual players are what have made my lfg experience bad. Unfortunately I don’t have lots of time so spending 2+ hours on a single encounter in pantheon hurts😢

@@jeffjameson5082 I feel you! I’d recommend searching for listings that are application only by high ranking or experienced players if you haven’t already. In my experience I’ve found that rank 11s often know what they’re doing and will run better loadouts. Hopefully you’ll get a decent team, good luck! 🤞
