Thank you so much for talking about this. The majority of people out there just do not understand the long term repercussions of Covid.

We’re in the midst of the biggest outbreak since the start of the pandemic, where it’s estimated that 1 in 3 people will catch Covid and no one is talking about it or doing anything to prevent it!! I’ve already had it twice and ever since the second time I feel that my chronic fatigue has gotten so much worse. This is something we need to take seriously. Thank you for raising awareness!

Thank you for all of this. Im a caregiver to my two high risk disabled parents and can not tell you how much people showing covid aware content means, especially when people hardly mask anymore, which really makes so many who are disabled still have to live like its 2020.

As someone with POTS (and probably long covid) that is losing a lot of relationships again since nearly no one I know will take any covid precautions or mask, it means a lot to see someone I have been following for years and years (pre nose job vlogmas lol) talk about this. I'm about to go catch up on a ton of your videos knowing this. Thank you Meghan :)

There are also so many other sicknesses going around right now, whether it’s the cold, the flu, or COVID please still test yourself even if it doesn’t “feel” like COVID. I recently had a cold and I stayed quarantined and masked up, even after testing negative for COVID, because being sick in general sucks and I didn’t want to get my family sick. I just wish everyone else was as considerate. The amount of people that are sick and still going out unmasked is insane to me.

I wish so badly that I had this video in early December when I got Covid. It was the second time, however, my symptoms were a thousand times worse and I had no clue what to do except what “felt right” at the time. I had a huge issue with my heart rate rising, and only in the past week has it gotten better, which I am so so grateful for. It’s wild to me, but also so typical, that people aren’t talking about the numbers right now. It’s horrendous out there, and the behavior of the doctor who tested me and her nurse was appalling. I appreciate you continuing to talk about this, meanwhile everyone else pretends it’s all back to normal 🤦‍♀️

I have looked into this and I’m pretty sure I have it. No one understands unless they go through it. I got covid first time last August and I’ve felt different ever since, I just recently barely started feeling better from the “out of breath” feeling and my heart pounding. I was given inhalers and thankfully haven’t felt the need to use them recently. That fatigue after covid is no joke. Never had a problem pushing through fatigue before, went to Disneyland in October for 2 days, first day wiped me out and the second day I opted for a wheelchair. It’s so hard on mental health too in those times to not get frustrated too. Thanks for talking about this 🥲❤️

My boyfriend's brother came back to our state for Christmas, and was clearly sick. Despite him telling us "I refuse to believe I am sick again", seeing him chugging DayQuil was definitely a sign to stay our distance. Well, two days later every single family member has Covid and it is very clear where it came from. It sucks because obviously no one wants to miss their family on the holidays, but at the same time people seem to forget that the pandemic is still going around. We just started feeling better about a week ago, but I was very scared it would turn into long Covid after 12 days and still having symptoms.. Very sorry to see you also got sick Meghan, these tips are great and definitely helpful. Feel better everyone

I had covid in December 2021. The WORST symptoms were the headache and fatigue. I'm not one to complain and stay in bed when I'm sick, but that headache and fatigue were so bad that I couldn't even open my eyes for 5 days. I'm STILL dealing with the fatigue. Glad you're feeling better.

Same I had it Dec 2021 and I couldn't do anything but lay in bed for 2 weeks straight. My head was not having any of anything, it was terrible. The only longer lasting effect of covid was lost of taste and smell, which very slowly came back but it took a year. My husband was fine after a few days with taste and smell returning too. I was so bitter because I am very certain he caught it from work since his job requires him to work closely with other people, while I work from home and don't go out a whole lot.

Glad you’re feeling better. My time with Covid last year I laid propped up in bed watching Laguna Beach and The Hills while eating lots of Italian icees. The part that I remember that was so strange is you get a burst of energy but once you start a task you suddenly feel terrible. I always listened to my body and would immediately lay down when i felt bad. Even in the middle of dishes which was difficult because once I start a task I have a hard time stopping unless I complete it. Sending love to everyone going through Covid right now. ❤

I literally just tested positive yesterday for the first time. I tested negative 3 times on Monday and still didn’t feel right so I tested again yesterday. I’m finding taking a shower isn’t too bad. I’m probably not resting as much as I should be though. The paxlovid taste isn’t as bad as the dry mouth feeling. I had just gotten the latest covid vaccine/flu shot on the 6th and ended up with covid on the 17th so that was a strange phenomenon 😅 Thanks for sharing your experience! I’m glad you’re feeling better now!

I believe everything you say and you're definitely not crazy. The reason i know is that ive experienced most of ypur symptoms and many more myself, ive been through it with the vaccine now with the virus. My most debilitating symptoms include epigastric pain and discomfort, nausea, no appetite, fullness, fatigue, hearing loss and chronic tinnitus. I had the pots, palpitations and pain after the vaccine. Im 9 months in with this now, i had symptoms for 18 months after the vaccine. Im glad you're doing much better now. Hopefully i can recover again because this takes ypu to dark places. Its so upsetting how much gaslighting the medical world give us x

I thought I had COVID and I honestly still think I do but my test have come out “negative” but I have been sick with a common cold as the doctor put it for weeks now and my daughter has still been sick and it feels like this time around it. I really pay to focus on like taking all of the things that my body needs to feel better, but also really slowing down and just not over exerting myself and being OK with resting, which is crazy because it’s like what you’re supposed to do when you’re sick and are unwell but in my mind it was like no this is not how I’m fighting this virus. Yet I couldn’t do anything because it only made it so much worse. So thank you for normalizing literally just resting and recovering when you’re sick, unwell, and just generally I’ll.

Keep testing! The current strains are harder to pick up on a rapid test. For more accurate results test 48 hours apart.
@FitChickGlows
@FitChickGlows 6 месяцев назад
I agree with @Marshmellow5641 these later subvariants can evade rapid home tests. As the spike proteins are a lot more different from when they made these tests with the earlier variants. The last time I had Covid my rapid tests could not pick it up. It’s called being Covid Negative. I can tell the difference between when I have Covid and a common cold. Some symptoms overlap obviously but others present quite differently and still others I ONLY get with Covid. … Just the fact that every time you exert yourself even in minor ways you flare/relapse is classic Covid. Rest, rest and more rest to allow your body to kick the virus out. And also, not allow it to dig deeper in your body causing long Covid.

I developed POTS after having Covid in 2022. It started while Iill and never improved. Just a few weeks ago, I got Covid for the second time 2023/24. All my symptoms have resolved. I’m shocked and thrilled. Both times were similar though the second felt more like a light but exhausting cold with no runny, just dry, stuffy nose. What you called Covid sinuses which reminded me of the first time.I only tested to protect others over the holidays. I was shocked it was Covid though the “covid sinus” feel definitely gave me pause. Both times I needed no meds, just lots of test and low dose ibuprofen for the headaches/feverI. ’m thrilled I feel normal again.

I have had Covid 1 time and I did feel terrible, but I never had shortness of breath or trouble breathing. Taking a shower made me feel better, it always has anytime I’m sick with literally anything. I will say though that I have also had the flu before and even though I felt like I had been hit with a bus when I had Covid, it wasn’t as bad as when I had the flu. So maybe my symptoms just weren’t severe enough to be affected by taking a shower. I think because my body hurt so bad, taking a warm shower helped loosen up my muscles so that it was easier for me to move.

The covid headache was the worst part for me and many others I’ve talked to. Just a constant headache that waxed and waned in severity of pain but was at minimum just annoying enough to never be able to ignore or get rid of. I’m a migraine suffer as well as my mother and bf and all of us got covid at some point and all had a “different” headache, not a migraine but more than a headache as it wouldn’t go away. Mine stayed for weeks after I was better, and I’m not sure if my bf is still having complications of long covid a year later or not, headaches the doctors can’t seem to do anything about or find cause for after many tests. It sucks to be in the early stages of something like this in the world where we just don’t yet know enough it all

Hi! I’m not a doctor - but I’ve worked at a clinic that works to prevent long haul covid. I recommend doing research on the use of Exosomes via Nebulizer or IV. We’ve seen amazing results in helping patients prevent long haul covid or help them out of their symptoms. There is a way to help via regenerative medicine but I feel like a lot of people do not know that these treatments are available!

My mom got covid in may 2022 and was sick for 2 years, she’s finally better but doesn’t really go anywhere for fear of getting sick. It was as if it was the first day of the flu everyday for 2 years, horrible… and she’d cry all the time asking when she’ll get better, it was the saddest thing ever. 99% of people have no idea the seriousness of covid, wouldn’t wish it on anyone. Thanks for talking about this. We are currently having a huge surge and a lot of people are about to be/are already infected. Everyone should be masking any time they leave the house.

I would love an updated video on your symptoms from POTS and and any tips you have on living life with it and what you have found the most helpful and the most harmful

my POTS symptoms are pretty textbook! one of my biggest triggers is temperature, so i wear layers to avoid getting too hot & ones that are easy to take off quickly! i also take beta blockers everyday & those have CHANGED my life. i make sure i have somewhere to sit if we go out, and i don’t often run errands alone or on weekends bc standing in lines spikes my HR. its really just focusing on pacing myself, not standing in one place, temperature control, electrolytes, food, water & meds! i deff need to learn what my other triggers are, so that’s my next goal!

I use teladoc my insurance covers it for so many visits. When I got Covid the first time I made an appointment and they called me within 5 minutes and they instantly gave me meds. Amazing experience

Doesn’t sound like you rebounded after Paxlovid. That and the bad taste were the worst side effects for me.

no vaccinations for me no "Covid" for me. You lot worked it out yet? Like it's not very difficult if you have your own DNA still intact

There are also so many other sicknesses going around right now, whether it’s the cold, the flu, or COVID please still test yourself even if it doesn’t “feel” like COVID.

what is long covid?
@vincebuzzurro9713
@vincebuzzurro9713 4 месяца назад
It’s where those who are continually Vaxxed continue to create the spike protein that makes them sick, but of course it’s always easier to blame it on the outside, then take self accountability. if one stays healthy, they can minimize however, if they take too many of these poison shots, then it is hard to reverse, especially their state of mind is based in fear and trusting the science😢

A bunch of people I know got Covid over the holidays but it was, like, cold symptoms.. none of the classic symptoms. I was so nervous to catch I again. Still testing negative and it’s been almost 2 weeks so I think I’m good.

Honestly I found just having COVID made everything taste and smell absolutely horrid. I could only eat specific things as I had no appetite. It was the worst sickness I had in years. I couldnt go up my stairs in my house without being out of breath and having heart palpitations. Im 28 years old...
