Does anyone else realize that alpha cc simmers and maxis match summers always say that when they switch or delete or do whatever, it’s always “I have joined the dark side...” hmmmmm

I feel like Maxis Match just looks so much cleaner and better. The two art styles kill my soul for some reason haha

I kinda prefer maxis match because I just think it fits the game and the world a whole lot better.

As a person that only uses maxis match (mostly) I can safely say alpha suits your game better! Not only are you the only simmer I watch that uses alpha, but you pull it off. I think changing between the two takes too much effort, because now is the time I have my favourites as well as you do with alpha. So yeah, I appreciate that you make alpha look as cool as you do!

I had an idea if you ever did a series with maxis match. What if there was an alternate universe where abel had a much happier life like his mother never died. I don't know just a thought

I like mixing Maxis match clothes with Alpha hair and clothes, I find that I like having my sims faces decked out completely in Alpha cc with Maxis clothes Personally for me I like it better when Clare uses Alpha cc, she uses it so well

I think you need to make a sim that is completely NEW with maxis match!! I think using sims that you are use to seeing sims you made with alpha feels weird.

For the maxis match series do a collab with Deligracy. You could do a series kind of like that drawing game where you draw something and fold it and just draw the connecting lines over but they don't know what you drew. Basically one of you would start the series then send the save file to the other and they would continue from there not know what happened before or what your goals are. It could be super funny and random especially since you both might be working toward opposite goals and getting in each other's way.

Clare Listen, anyone saying they won't watch you if you switch clearly doesn't like your videos for you. Do what makes YOU happy, and if what makes YOU happy is maxis match, then do it! Maxis looks great so don't worry. Do what you want. Love you 💚

I consider myself "maxis mix" I just download what I like. lately, I have been really liking alpha hairs. I just think they add so much more personality and depth to sims :D

I use both because i cant pick but it's 85% alpha but thats because that's what i generally like. also wow my cc is not even closely that organized its just in 3 folders of just everything😂

Honest Clare, you’re the one who got me into alpha cc. I prefer it more as I tested out maxis match and hated the way it looked, probably because I was used to alpha cc lmao. Now I look back it’s actually not that bad. Anyways, I do kinda hope you stay as an alpha cc simmer 😅

why was I so excited for this video. I usually use alpha, hut I have a history of seeing maxims match sims and deleting my mods folder and switching back to maxis match.....

you should do maxis match series where everything will be just maxis match, but the other series that you already have(disney princess, uni life-etc.) you should leave with alpha. I personally would like that!

I use Alpha cc and it's so weird to look at the sims that don't have it! Because I got used to having my sims look a bit realistic so maxis match weirds me out. But sims can look GREAT with maxis match and I would have no problem using maxis match if I got used to it!

I would enjoy an lp where it’s like a parallel universe where like your favorite sims are in Maxis Match style and maybe the storyline is very different.

I used to be a huge alpha user but not long ago fell for maxis match as well. The only thing I can’t do is the hair, I use alpha hair on maxis match cc but it somehow doesn’t look as bad or out of place as I feared, which I like.

i used to only use alpha too, but maxis match looks way better in game and it’s also not as taxing on my computer. my game runs a lot smoother having only maxis match and i don’t really want my sims to look real. it’s all about personal preference. i think both are beautiful

I don't like the mixing of the different CC's, but I love you having the Maxis Match in the game. I think you should definitly keep this new mods folder and make more sims and even maybe do a new save with the Maxis Match sims!

New series with only maxis match would be cool! You could do something like "what if..." with maxis match but old characters. - What if Emma didn't got back together with Max - what if Ryder left Jake I'm sure you would have a lot of cool ideas for more and could suprise us with something! 😊

I prefer Maxis Match, cause I’m a neat freak and I think it looks better all being the same. I like it to match the game. In Sims 3 though, Alpha is 🔥👌. But I guess Sims 3 does have a more realistic feel.

When I got a new laptop and I couldn’t get all my cc back, I tried maxis match and I loved how it looked but every time I went cc shopping I got so distracted by the beautiful alpha hairs and I broke after like a week and downloaded about 500 hairs in one go...

I like it because it opens it to a new audience it’s easy to relate too. players like me who play on console haven’t got custom content even available

I mostly have Alpha CC because it's just easiest to find (at least on the CC sites I use) but I think that if I was less lazy with my Sims I would want to have fully Maxis Match game because I like the consistency. I know that a lot of people hate the "clay hair" but I like that the Sims team committed to a cartoony style!

I love my alpha hairs, skins, eyes, and clothes too much to switch. I will admit I can enjoy the occasional maxis match top or dress.

Me and my friend always argue because I’m a maxis match user and she adores alpha so which is the dark side is a constant argument

A fun future tip is that the Sims will boot whatever folder is currently named The Sims 4 inside of the directory folder, so if you copy the folder and paste it you can essentially just use the different folders for different CC sessions. Just swap out which one is currently in thr Electronic Arts folder.

I used to be Alpha with a sprinkle of Maxis Match and then I just fell in love with the softness yet boldness of so much Maxis Match cc. Now I'm mostly Maxis Match.

This is funny to watch because I left alpha about 6 months ago and I’m so glad I use maxi match. Unlike before when my sim would look weird compared to the other sims, now my sims look like they belong in the game. Also I don’t have to find a ton of “realistic” furniture to add to my homes because my sims look like they belong.

I used to be an alpha simmer and I was convinced for SO LONG that I would never go maxis match. But,,, I converted half a year ago and I don’t think I could ever go back to alpha... they are just so CUTE

when i first got the sims 4 on my pc, i was super into alpha cc, but then i was having some issues with storage and some of the hairs becoming plastic-looking and shiny/rubbery, and a lot of the cc didn't fit my aesthetic. i stuck with it for about two months before introducing myself to maxis match, and i love it now. maxis match is actually much better on my storage space and hardly ever glitches out for me. it's come to the point i dislike alpha and refer to it as the dark side like you do to maxis match lol

I used to love alpha cc and hate maxis match when I was younger, but now I love maxis match and hate alpha. Maxis match matches the sims a lot better, and I like that. Personally, I think you should play however you want to play! Its your game and your channel, you do you Clare. In saying that though, your alpha makeovers are one of my favourite things to watch, you inspire me to create different looking sims and try out different cc. I got into alpha because of your beautiful sims. I would miss it if you switched to maxis match

you and deli should do a series where you take it in turns to make an episode, one where you have to use maxis match so that your game matches hers - and then another series where she has to use alpha, but you take it in turns to do the episodes each season

I think it’s better to make new sims to get a good first impression. We’re all really used to see your sims in alpha so it’s kinda hard to live up to expectations since they were almost “made for alpha” in a sense? Also Maxis Match CC World (or something like that, can’t remember off the top of my head) is a great blog that reblogs a lot of good cc and has all CC in organised folders to easily find what you’re looking after! Good CC shopping!

Trillyke is one of my fave maxis match cc creators! AH00B and Greenllamas have my fave hair creators! Elliandra (I think thats how you spell her name) does these MM CC haul videos with links to everything and I've gotten SO MUCH from them!

Honestly the OG Sims stuff look AMAZING, what made me fall in love with the game is the cartoonish but realistic and it's just, perfectly balanced. As for the custom stuff, I'm not a big fan of hairs, but clothing and simple shaders are a really cute
