Anyway, I think this one's title of WORST is secure. At least the G5 Cal had PONIES even though they were the crapy Ponies GO I mean Pony Life molds. LOL >;2
If you pause it at 7:54 it says that it's a Beauty Advent Calendar, which explains the hair clips and lip gloss and stuff. Doesn't excuse the poor quality though

That was such a scam! I feel like Hasbro have lowered the quality of their products, including pony figures. Remember back when G4 came out and they had soft silky hair? And then a few years later, the hair became very poor quality (eg it becomes frizzy and knotty very easily.) Also, if you noticed, the plastic quality dropped too. Am I the only person who thinks this?
@@GabyGeorge1996 It didn't, there was just a change in the ownership amount which led to the name change. Hasbro owns less of it now than they did previously.

Lil' Kitten it is German. It says „24 days beauty Accessoires“ on it. So Beauty is a English word I don’t know what she was expecting from a “beauty” calendar 🤷🏻♀️ but yeah the calendar is total trash 😆
They literally took random items and put them in a box with their logo and claimed them as their own and marketed it. They could've at least put a small blind bag pony into it! Edit: how'd this become a highlighted comment?

You know... It wouldn't have hurt Hasbro to at least put a pony miniature in there at the very least. One of their crap leftover blind bags. Those aren't expensive. Then at least they could SAY that this was an MLP calendar. Pretty much what we have here is a "Raid every gumball machine they could" calendar. And I would be careful with that cheap makeup in there. It's probably so cheap and untested that if you put it on all at once you'd end up permanently disfiguring yourself with chemical burns.
@Thora F It's crap gumball machine crap from who know's where. Do we know who made this makeup? What's in it? What company made this stuff? Are there regulations in those countries or are there "regulations"? You never know what you're getting with some of this stuff, unless it's made by a company that's inspected or regulated properly in countries that aren't known for corruption. Is it safe? Most likely. But.. like I said. You don't ever know what you're getting with some of this stuff depending on where it came from.
But why does it have to be only little girls? Why can't anyone who wants to try it on? It's not feminism, it's just discrimination against people expressing themselves.
Why does MLP calendar sell MAKEUP for little girls. For real. Not every little girl wants to use some random accescories and makeup. Just give them chocolate or toys in calendars

Did anyone else notice the dates of the copyrights on the calendar as well? I have a feeling that Hasbro does print more recent dates even if making the same thing multiple years in a row. This means that the calendar itself could very well be actually 2 years old, regardless of purchase date. I wouldn't use the makeup items unless I actually knew for certain that they were good.

@Chocomeis Actually, I feel quite proud of myself! :D I wrote my opinion, exactly how I feel, without worrying what others would say. For years I was terrified to comment anywhere online, because of horrible harassment and bullying that I had gone through before. It was so bad I was suicidal and badly depressed for years. I lost my voice. But now I've begun to express myself again, and you know what? The mean comments meant to hurt me and push me back down, don't hurt anymore! I couldn't be happier and prouder of myself.

I miss when they made calendars with the ponies that were blind bag sized (before FIM was a thing) and their accessories. Some of them were crappy, but they were still very PONY oriented.

My favorite color is purple too, and in some ways, it looks amazing, like Amethyst from Steven Universe's color palette. But this calendar... :inhale: they used the ugliest shades of purple ever.
When I was the advent calendar age, I remember getting LPS and G3 'Ponyville' themed ones. They included 1-2 full sized figures and tons of accessories. Hasbro has really gone downhill, it's kinda sad.
Surely, one would have thought that, after The Best Gift Ever came out a few weeks ago, this advent calendar would have the new blind box figures in it, seeing as there's 24 of them. I currently have a Kinerton MLP chocolate calendar and a Pringles one too! I think the best advent calendar I've had has to be the Lego Star Wars one though! Love how hasbro literally put a 2016 items in a 2018 calendar referring to the toe/nail separator & and a lot of other items in this calender. Like they must have had a 2016 beauty set they couldn't sell in stores ( it is so obvious why) but they just put all those items in a 2018 mlp advent calendar shame on hasbro.

The best My Little Pony advent I had was one of the older versions, just before MLP: FiM came out. It has a big purple tree on it with a visible mini pony figure of Pinkie Pie (the original, of course.) I believe it came with a few other pony figures, as well. It had the cutest prizes, like a tiny cloth stocking and Santa hat. Looking at this one and comparing it to the 'Ponyville' one, I feel like the 'Ponyville' advent was a lucky gem among plan rocks and now I'll treasure it even more.
MLP: Girls can be smart, strong, and funny too. We don't need to enforce gender stereotypes. Hasbro: Hey, how about we fill the advent calendar with nothing but h A i R c L i P s A n D m A k E u P !!!1!
I have seen plenty of good mlp advent calendars. Our neighbours down the road got one for their six year old. She did not get the beauty advent one but was a mlp one. So far she has got mini mlp figures, cool stickers, what looks like a mini wood piece in the shape of one of the ponies and their picture on it. You said the last two yeas the mlp advent calendars were not so good so why get a mlp beauty advent calendar again? Why did you not decide to shake things up and get a non beauty one but still a mlp advent calendar? Or you still could 😁There are a few to choose from. I live in Ireland and seen them here, also advertised online for UK. Even a cheap one with chocolate each day in it from pound land.
At the risk of sounding like an old cynical fart I must say I find these modern advent calendars quite disgusting. Consumerism dialed up to 200% marketed to children and shopaholic women. Bunch of junk. Back in my day an advent calendar was a piece of cardboard with little illustrations behind each window that fit together with the episode of the day of the advent radio theatre.
@Camilla Johansson I sure hope so. Cause I used to take care of kids and they childrens make up they used left an oily feel and stains behind after washing it off.

I was a big Nintendo fan when I was little, and I still am to this day. The only times I use makeup - well, face paint - is when I need it for a Halloween costume.

This is my first video I'm watching from you but i have a few concerns 1.) This is a kids calendar and its from hasbro, don't expect the most high quality item 2.) (I'm not 100 percent sure on this one, as I do not have the calendar) that glitter looked pretty easy to get out, just get scissors or a knife 3.) not every single little thing needs a pony on it. Some smaller things might not be able to fit one on and it costs the company a lot to buy the ink for them. As long as they are hearts or something, it should be fine 4.) Why are you so salty about purple. Every time you see purple you whine about it being the worst color like calm down lmao I'm not trying to full on hate on this youtuber, I just got a bit confused about things on this video, sorry

My stuffy dog star may use them. not the pink one. she HATES pink and so do i.
The thing is the clips seem so cheep that you could probably get all of them for a dollar (if not more), the ones they gave aren't at all relivent to MLP, and they didn't look like they'd fit the pony figures.
I don't really care for MLP, but I had this video on my recomanded, so I checked it out. And its cheap (refering to the calendar). I'd assume that this made for girls of 5 or 6 years old and if I got that I'd have just been disappointed. As a kid all I wanted were plushes and toys. Dosen't matter what the plushes (characters) were from, I just wanted them. Plus, since kids at this young age learn more then in the later stages in life, this teathes the kids about makeup and that they have to look beautiful to even be someone. Plus with all the celebrities on tv that they might see.. I don't know why, but this is the most triggering thing I've ever seen!

Omg why tho? I love little flimsy plastic hair clips like that! You could reuse them for all manner of things! Why all the hate? Also, it's expensive to put the ponies on all of the things for example the ring, with all their bright colours it could be hard to print them all!

G4 is officially the bottom of the barrel in toy design. And to think everyone hates G3 when it was one of the best. I don't think they ever did an advent calendar but you can bet the last gift would have been a whole Pony and the rest would have been good quality pony accessories.
