Dark Souls gameplay in 2023! Bonkers, I know. Thought I'd bring it to the channel and see what's up. Its hard but pretty fun so let me know if you wanna see more. Game: store.steampowered.com/app/57... Discord: / discord
My man went from cruelly tormenting innocent bots to enjoying the sadistic pleasures of the notoriously brutal game known as "Dark Souls". Talk about a turn from torturing innocent AIs to diving into the depths of this community. It's a refreshing change to witness someone embrace the darkness wholeheartedly 👍
Hi Plague! Love your videos! Here are some of my best tips for dark souls (and sorry for the essay): -don’t get greedy with your hits. You seemed pretty good with it, but the way that attacking works in this game is that every button press basically get queued up, and they’ll all happen even if you stop mashing the button, if that makes any sense. For instance if you try and attack 3 times, you’ll attack 3 times even if you try to dodge roll or cancel it in any way instead. -practice parrying. Parrying is pretty difficult, so I’d recommend practicing it with the undead soldiers, but knowing how to do it can make your post-death run-backs less painful. I don’t recall which button you press, but whichever one makes your character swing their shield is what you want to use to parry. Basically, in the split second before your enemy’s hit lands, you’ll want to parry it. A successful parry will make your enemy stumble back and drop their guard. In this moment, you can advance and riposte, or counterattack. If you time it correctly, the riposte will do lots of damage. There are entire weapon builds based around parrying, and it’s really fun! Not recommended for crowd control, though! -don’t be afraid to dodge roll into walls. The way that dodge rolling works is that you get a certain number of invincibility frames, even if you don’t actually go anywhere during the roll. If you’re about to get hit but you’re in a corner, roll into it just like normal and the invincibility frames will still save you. -try to stay in a light roll. The light roll is the fastest dodge roll and the one with the most invincibility frames. Keep an eye on your burden and try not to wear equipment or armor that makes you too heavy. You actually see a lot of pro players not wearing any armor at all so they can have an ultra-heavy weapon and still light roll! -NPCs are attackable, and most can and will kick your butt. Try not to accidentally aggro any of them, because they stay mad! Every time you go back to where they are they’ll attack you, and that can be truly annoying. If anyone has anything to add or if I’ve said something wrong, feel free to reply to this comment! Solaire best boy and Praise the Sun! \[T]/
Praise The Sun! \[T]/ If you look at the beginning of the video’s rolls and near the end, you’ll see that your rolls got slower, this is due to having more things equipped, which raises your equip load. Keep the equipload below 50% for mid rolls, and below 25% for those sweet speedy rolls.
i would love to watch you play the entire game, if theres a whole series ill watch it in one sitting. and ive never seen dark souls content before so i will be learning as much as you would
Vitality will be your best friend in your upgrade menu at the bonfire early game it gives you more health. Endurance gives you more stamina for running and rolls and also makes your equip load higher you so can have better armor or weapons without doing the really slow rolls.
Everyone in your server is so kind and respectful, I come into chat and remind everyone that they're loved and try my best to spread kindness. Ty for uploading 🙏
If you do decide to play more make sure to lock on at all times that definitely helps and don't level up every stat a bunch for pyro i recommend doing dexterity vitality and endurance the most and strength to atleast 20 you can kinda ignore intelligence faith and resistance but heck play how you want if you want
Undead just means that you died and came back to life. That is why they are called un-dead. The word just means that you have experienced death, but aren´t dead anymore and instead alive.
