Would be hilarious if a game's so broken and a dev knows it, and so the dev uses the broken mechanics to make other parts of the game work based on those failing mechanics doing the unintended thing. @@LoboTheLegend assets are literally ripped from fallout 4 and reskinned silly goose. like half the animations were carried over too. same with the base building. not inherently a bad thing, but objectively true.

This is how I view it. Starfield did that in order to deliver more gameplay over a cool feature. I agree, it kinda sucks you can't just "no man's sky" down into a planet BUT, in comparison, the planets are FILLED with stuff to do, not just empty places you'll leave after 5 minutes. But that's just my take on it

yeah im stuck with my 35w 4 core 8 thread i7-6700T @ 3.40- 3.60 GHz paired with a GTX 1660 ti which performs slightly better than the GTX 1070 like it's a GTX 1070 Super, so im hoping for at least 45 fps at 1080p. i really really hope Star Field has AMD FSR implemented, preferably FSR 2.0 which would allow 60+ FPS at 1080-1440p with older 10, 16 and 20 series NVIDIA GPUs

I mean, this looks pretty much exactly like what I expected from Bethesda. Definitely going to have to wait a few months for the modders iron out the bugs and implement QoL changes before I'll be willing to try the game out. Particularly with the companions constantly complaining about things.

Sure there'll still be some glitches in every game, but most devs make sure the majority aren't there. Meanwhile there's plenty of games that release with few or no glitches. Look at stuff like Armored Core 6 or Final Fantasy XVI, which are both pretty big games made by well known devs that launched with very few glitches. Or on the other end, there are some games that release with glitches because they're made by smaller teams, like Remnant 2, but where said teams actually try to fix the glitches quickly. Remnant 2 had more bug fixes in the first two or three weeks than Skyrim has had in over a decade despite there still being a ton of gamebreaking glitches in Skyrim that every re-release still has from its initial launch.

Well of course its up to post development team to fix all of that.. The independent modders.. 😂

I mean it doesn't feel m7ch different than cyberpunk now and starfield has a good start compared to the launch of many other games, like cyberpunk XD But yes, it could be much better and its still not worth the price

fr though it feels as if you mashed the outer worlds and no mans' sky together, with a small dash of star citizen quality ship interiors and fallout 4 combat, it works very well.

If you're like me, you loved Fallout 4 and you don't mind typical Bethesda problems with their games that are common for Fallout, Skyrim and now Starfield, you gonna love it.

@@EndermTheSwordsman I’ve definitely played more elite dangerous than NMS, but it’s actually ridiculous how similar the games are. The crazy thing to me is that the exploration and space travel is actually far better in NMS and elite. Starfield isn’t a bad game, it’s just been CRAZY overhyped.

you cant swim below the surface of the water tho. Neon is on a water world so i imagine those shark things are to keep you out of the water
