Let me know your thoughts: Is the video's visual fidelity, on a par with what you would be expecting from 4K MSFS content? As I explained during the introduction, I'm still in somewhat of an "experimental" phase with 4K recordings so, I would be very interested to hear your feedback! Much appreciated and I do hope you're all keeping well : )
Wish GKS would add realistic sounds to to their F111, that aircraft is beautifully modelled, one of the best in msfs. Glass cockpits are a bit ho hum now.
@@wrap239 hearing them almost everyday as a USAF F-35a weapons loader, this is really damn close, especially at 7:09 with that weird whining noise. That occurs everytime they go to startup the engine after IPP is on for a bit. This is really damn accurate. 😅👍
im not an MSFS player, im more into DCS than civilian aircraft. but i do like to watch your videos because they are so well produced and relaxing to watch. however one thing that i find a bit strange in MSFS is that the audio is often looked over or not well made. but in my opinion it should be one on the main focuses of a developer. With DCS especially Heatblur's F-14 you really get a sense of power from the afterburners. Nice to see IndiaFoxtEcho focus on improving it. hopefully more will follow :)
I’m a msfs and think dcs is trash to their players and their high costs. No new players are even able to jump into that game. But I totally agree with you. The sounds are vital for the experience. Ad they seem to recycle them for other planes. Like the f18 and like 3 others use the same sound package
@@Ubi-o "DCS is trash to their players and their high costs" you are paying for a higher quality module. MSFS does not come to the close standards of DCS, not with it's flight modal or depth. graphics are also hit and miss in MSFS. with the graphics of the game, lighting for example being the best in the industry
Not only is the quality of the video incredible, but the cinematics are very nice and your review is objective and detailed. Your flying skills also really impressed me. You never disappoint, thank you for the videos!
I'm not in FS for military jets, but this one will now go in the hanger! Sound is such an important part of the immersion experience, so why it's skipped on by most developers is beyond me. A jet with full afterburner should NOT sound like a washroom hand dryer. Great video once again - the 4k looks amazing.
I love doing the take of with the runway view of the vulcan bomber... that howl as it goes by and pulls up is just mind blowing. Brings back some amazing memories 🥹👌
Loved the 4K! Not that many channels push the capabilities of my monitors and speakers. Great addition to your always great content. Thanks for the show! I'll be looking to spend a few extra hours in the F35 this weekend now.
I always watch your videos on my 4k tv. This was amazing & especially with 5.1 sound was the icing on the cake. Planned & flown with your usual precision. Whatever you're doing with 4k, just keep right on doing it.
I’m amazed every time I watch one of your videos. It’s as if you’re checked out in every plane you fly. I know you’re a skilled fighter pilot but being able to climb into any aircraft and give detailed descriptions of what you’re doing while flawlessly accomplishing the procedures is a true talent! You must have an eidetic memory!
Wow, this video is awesome! I love your commentary, describing what you are doing. It makes me feel like I am listening to the pilot radio at an air show.
The video quality is super. I normally run YT on 1080. But i switched to 4K for this video, and it looks very nice for sure. When will we see you in full fidelity jets in DCS? I would love to see you in the F-16 FA-18 or JF-17 etc etc.
I love the 4k content, great video as always! I'll need to stretch the F-35 legs again. Ever since I started flight simming back in the FSX days, aircraft sound quality has always been one of the top attributes I search for in an addon. Happy to see developers, like IFE, have taken the time to revamp their previous release. Great stuff!
Your videos remain and best and most trustworthy. And this was the best commercial for the IFE F-35 they ever could have hoped for, and I mean that in a good way.
Fantastic video as always. I will point out - an aircraft being fly-by-wire does not mean that it does not have/need trimming; the F-16 is a fantastic example of this. All the best!
Hello, it's been a while! Excellent video, and the 4k really adds to the immersion. Whilst my interest is primarily with classic vintage aeroplanes, I have this but have not flown it! After seeing, and hearing it, I'll rectify that immediately.
Typically and expectedly excellent. Brings back the sound at LAX where my Dad would take us to watch planes, 60 years ago, reveling in the roar of the newly introduced 707s. No noise abatement, no blast barriers, just power. Love it.
It is just crazy how every thing is touch screen. there seems to be an absolute minimum of toggle switches. I like how with the single engine aircraft you show the gear animation. I have always wondered why you don't do such for the airliners though, cause sometimes those have some interesting movements and such. OH WOW!!!! The flyby sound on the take off was incredible!!! That sounds the real thing, my room was rumbling. That sound on the flyby landing view was also excellent. Very nice. Nice touch with the lightning at the end of the video. :D
Lie me down and leave me on the runway for listening to the sounds! ye ha 🤣lol Sadly my 4k monitor broke, so back to 2k atm but still amazing video, picture, sounds and this is a great product with the A, B & C variants and many liveries for squadrons etc (I've got the plane but with my ageing PC MSFS and the lastest stuff I cannot fully enjoy atm - still waiting for my lotto win). The Top MAch B-2 Spirit seems to have amazing sounds also, so hopefully as you say a lot more will have updates & improvments.
I spent some time at NAS China Lake when I was in this man's US Navy back in the 80's. No F-35's back then LOL. I just wish VRS would get the MSFS Tacpack going. There are some absolutely amazing aircraft available these days, but we need guns! Lots of guns!
Such a fun aircraft ... I love the ability to hover in the B version. You can get everywhere super fast but still slow down to have a close look and literally land anywhere. The only downside is the fuel consumption when you fly her fast and that you can't take much fuel when you want to hover to begin with. Love the new soundset too, even though it's a bit quiet right behind the aircraft compared to other viewing angles. Great video! P.S.: one minor gripe. The HUD/HMD is very hard to read at full on daytime.
it's not allowed to start turbines with canopy open, because it's a visual sign for ground crew. If you close your canopy, it's the sign you start your engine
Absolutely superb! Great time to be a flight sim enthusiast - Subscribed and seriously looking at getting this! Keep up the great work! Og BTW where did you get that awesome livery?
Awesome video as always. We would love to see DC Designs SU-27 being reviewed here, too. It was released last week. Some say the addon is quite promising.
Thank you for the great work on this video, your flight was great! A question, how did you get your voice in cockpit to sound like a transmission this would be fun with friends to communicate like this, which audio filter are you using?
I can''t remember but does this have the playback from tower view? I loved being able to watch my landings from that perspective in the previous simulator.
Video quality is great, as I do 4k videos myself. I had some trouble following because of your speed through the process. How do you get the pilot show, and how do you activate NWS? You didn't show that part. I can't find anywhere that is described in this new version. Thanks!
Theyd make an absolute killing (pun intended) in a dcs version, given its current level, people would accept it not being 100% accurate, because of its security status. Oh an like they helped hb in msfs, get heatblur to help them on weapons etc for dcs giggity giggity
Awesome video! Love the -C variant. I was wondering if you knew if the automatic flaps can be turned off on the F-35? It’s always on when I fly it and it’s really annoying for trying to do acrobatic manoeuvres. Keep up the great work!
Can you fly proper IFR flight plans and use ATC for military jets? What do you do with it in MSFS.. Coming frmo a DCS player im not sure what the draw is. I do like flying passenger jets in MSFS< but that is purely because of IFR and vatsim.
imagine DCS try to get some kind of "marriage " with MS studios get some resources and both together doing the entire world with aerial combat, building from the ground up anew simulator
No doubt this is impressive work and it's great to see it continually updated. Unfortunately for me, one of the first aircraft I got from IFT has soured their reputation with me. It's still on sale but is effectively abandonware. True it's half the price of the F35 but its a far less complex aircraft. Maybe someday I'll pick this up perhaps if it gets new features or further improvements for FS2024.
I use a 34 inch LG curved display. (the FIRST curved LED that came out) its a 3340 pixel panel and so less than 4k and the graphics look VERY good. personally, I would. prefer to have the best graphics of the display panel/guages and the land geometry; like GEOEYE.
Love the updates and the sounds are fantastic however they are a extremely loud inside the cockpit and I’m not f35 pilot but I just would t imagine them to be so loud inside
the fact after 4 years we dont have a air refuel system in MSFS is mind boggling, i just don't understand, the amount of airports we have and airplanes, why no one is capable to do it? would be so epic, the pilot body and suite looks perfect, DCS took years and years improving the fabric of the suite till the last detail of a scratch in the belt, thats just sad, no one cares, this model here is perfect, surely doesnt have any impact on the performance and so on, i cant wait to come back to MSFS i miss it so much...no words, after 3200hours of flight time i really miss it, im building now a better computer with a better pilot chair etc, will be a blast to fly around the world again, I have been always in DCS but is getting a bit tedious to be honest, so much drama, still full those campaigns on the F-16 or F14 or even F15 but looking to this i will have so much fun in the good jets that we already have in MSFS, the F14, the F15 this one theF35, oh yes the F22, is so good too, i really wish the refueling system become implemented in the MSFS
The HMD-sight is too green and not transparent enough - an adjustment in brightness and more white to the green. Is is ported to the right graphics channel?
