This might be the most accurate drum cover I’ve ever seen !! Hate when people upload a drum cover to a song and just butcher it but this is unbelievable 👏🏻well done
Absolutely unbelievable man I was blown away by the precision and accuracy. The pocket was perfect. It’s true, if you played this for the average joe, they wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between you and the almighty Stewart Copeland on a studio track mind you. Unbelievable. 10/10 would recommend
Excellent job! And what an amazing band the Police were. They hitched a ride on the Punk Rock bandwagon, but these were some very skilled musicians. It was very soon apparent that they weren’t a punk band. I guess they were a legit new wave band but they were all so very gifted musically.
Really enjoyed this. You handled the fills and flams spot on as far as I can tell. Having trouble watching an SC cover with matchstick instead of traditional, and no socks! (Need those 70's knee-highs he wore!) :> Thanks for the great musicianship and post.
wow what an awesome cover. I was just looking to find the drum sheet to this song and can't seem to find any authentic versions. Can you tell me where you got yours please.? Thanks again for sharing your talent with us.
@@ernstcarree1063 Hi, I mean the audio version of this cover... if you can share a CD quality or a 24 bit file would be great.. Would like to try them on my system :)
It's a Sonor Benny Greb snare, 13 x 5,75, first generation, muffled by a ring made of an old snare head! And a moongel underneath. Medium tension for the head.
@@GJwwaaaGJ It acts as a "bad" microphone, only low end. You get the sound of the speaker rather than the sound of the kick drum, but it adds some "wouf" to the sound when blended with the other mic. Yamaha Subkick should work better than my home made thing!!!
