That’s too bad about Mr. Turkey. He is pretty for sure. Several other you tubers have been having trouble with there turkeys also. I hear the weather out there is talking snow also for parts of your country. Bizarre weather for sure.
Really? Not just me, huh? Yeah it tried to snow the other day and a high of 48. But it's supossed to be back up in 90s this weekend, maybe even tomorrow. Very strange weather. 🤷
Seems like turkey pecked his way to the freezer. That's crazy how hot and dry you guys are, then frost. The weather is so weird all over. Hopefully, not enough frost to do damage.
Haha. He did. Yeah, the weather is strange all across the board. The frost was a pretty good one. We had a little damage, but not catastrophic like last year. However, the wind and heat, along with low humidity, have caused significant damage to the garden already. We just keep on keeping on. 😁👍🤷
I suspect it's gonna be a little tough. I've only had a couple at this age, and they have tasted ok, but not quite as good as the younger ones. We had him as part of our breeding pair as well. The bummer part for us is that he was very consistent at fertilizing eggs. So, we will have to start a new male soon for next spring and hope it does well. 🤷🙂
