Please pardon me for this terribly lengthy comment, but sometimes I just can't help but wonder if the weather ever makes you feel something magical whenever you visit these remarkable destinations. Provided that our setting is immersed somewhere deep in the Indian Ocean, approaching port at a remote island merely the size of a small village, seemingly eons away from home and every vice of the earth, something about the way that that cloudy overcast graced the hymn of those gentle turquoise waters just took my breath away. The way that the sun lovingly kissed every masterpiece you meandered through on the bike in every Maldives clip was nothing short of mesmerizing. That momentary spell of rain ethereally witnessed from your villa transported me to another world, and that first sunset was spectacular! Between the all-powerful whims of the elements and the hypnotic remoteness of a given location, one marvel would be incomplete without the other. From my observations, I believe that there's a certain feeling that always leads you back to the Maldives, and it is reminiscent of that rainy night in the Rosewood Phuket, that monstrous overcast from the Intercontinental Porto, or those dewy mornings commanded by blue skies at the Amanoi or Forestis Dolomites, among other spectacles you shared with us in the past for just a fleeting moment through some pixels on a screen. Even though this particular resort will certainly never make my top 20 or even my top 100, to me, it is yet another idyllic hidden corner of the world for me to read my theoretical physics books, to contemplate the cosmos, or to bask in whatever may fascinate you as a reader. And as banal as it may sound, your also help me to remember to stop and appreciate every now and then how inconceivably fortunate I am to just have a desirable genetic hand while living middle class in a wealthy free market economy, receiving a world class education while building a successful business in my 20's, and watching your videos not just to imagine, but to confidently dream.
Seems to be quite small, but that mustn't be bad. Accor isn't really known for getting luxury right in my opinion but it fits what they did there... I don't know if it fits everything what's needed to count as a true luxury hotel (above all the star levels) but maybe it's pretty solid for the 5* classification, but not much more. I'm expecting something around 400-500 USD a night. Max. 800 USD a night.

Рассматривал его на гугл карте но там еще как раз не чего не было видно! Мне нравится что в самом начале указываете отметку на карте! Можно рассмотреть локацию и что там поблизости! 💗💗💗

This resort seems like it’s catered to the youth with all the bright colors and techno music played! 🕺 Even the staffs uniform was laid back. All this to say, I appreciate your videos! It has really narrowed which resort I would like to visit first! These videos give me inspiration! Thanks Dr! ❤
Thank you very much as always for the beautiful video. Maldives are really a great place. However i don’t see the hotel in that price category at all. Same with Hilton Amingiri. I wish the management the best establishing this property in that category, but i will rather to invest my money on Raffles, Park Hyatt, SS Kanuhura, Huvafen, etc. Looking forward to see your visit at WA.

I love your videos - they take me to a peaceful place in my soul. I have to be honest, this is not one of my favorite Maldives resorts. The striped pools do not lend themselves to restfulness, but I'm sure they are to some's liking. Thanks for all your videos.

The first time I didn't like the villa. I don't like the combination of the bedroom with the bathroom, shower and toilet. There is no sound or light insulation. I want privacy in matters of hygiene.
Love this and being an Accor managed property you know it's good!! Very reasonably priced for the Maldives as well and the rooms are amazing, the sound of the water would help you get a great nights sleep
oh Im an absolute fan of this. It looks modern but down to earth in comparison to e.g. soneva fushi and only costs a 1/4 of soneva. These are my favourite tours for sure. The "upper middle class resorts" if you will
Yeah… …this one didn’t do it for me. It’s a shame because I love Maldives. I’ve been to Maldives twice although the places I stayed at weren’t as opulent as the places you’ve travelled to, but this resort made the budgeted resorts I stayed at look classier. The red decor clashed and the pool was literal eye cancer for me, but hey! We each have different opinions, right? I’ve seen your Top 10 for Maldives and I don’t recall SO/ being one of them. It’s not hard to imagine why! 😂🤣 Two in your Top 10 are two of the three places I wish I could go there with my sister and nephew. The first one is Anantara Kihavah because it’s on the Baa Atoll and has an undersea restaurant. I’d probably get the 2 bedroom overwater villa if I had that much cash to burn. Another one I would love to take my sister and nephew to would be Soneva Fushi, which is also in the Baa Atoll area. The option that didn’t make your top 10, and I don’t think you’ve been there is The Muraka in The Conrad Rangali island. I realize that $50,000 is a bit steep, but I wish someone with your travel expertise and video skills would do that villa justice by shutting up and let the images speak for themselves. I love your videos because I and I’m sure many others can relax and imagine we’re there. The travel videos that others do with the talking, jerky motions, cuts and splicing distract viewers from the serene beauty of the places that they’re vlogging about. Your videos simply allows us to come along on the journey. They’re serene and inspirational…except for this resort. This one gave me eye cancer! I’m rewatching Soneva and Anantara! 😂🤣
im sorry but the bath, toilet and shower next to the bed is a big no no ☹and the sink looks like something in a dentist office, definitely not on my list of places to stay
Now reading your review of the resort I concluded the fashion designers planned the interior design and the interior designers conceived the uniforms for the staff 😂 Disastrous swap. 😅

The real let down is the staff uniforms, so unprofessional they look like they just come off a plane for a holiday...Ive Managed Hotels in the tropics my staff work tailored knee length shorts, tailored collared tee shirts, boat shoes they looked smart and distinguished themselves from the guests ... this is a big let down considering the rest of the branding is on point, its really well designed, appointed, laid out and presented

There is absolutely nothing nice that I could say, dear LTE ... spidey senses off the charts! Hideous, dark, and ugly. 😮 I abhor the whole bath/bed combo idea to start with! It was all awful! It also felt so 'manufactured' ... This is the darkest place yet!! I'm afraid that after getting a look in the lobby, I would have turned and ran down the dock to hop back on the boat before it left! Yikes!! Sorry to say, my friend, but the SO/maldives is a NO/GO for me!! Very dark, indeed!
I absolutely love your videos but i just can’t watch this one. One glimpse of that colourful pool in the first minute was enough. I imagine it full of drunk adults and screaming children. 😂
I love your videos but I think fashion designers should keep designing clothes. The colour combination throughout the hotel is hideous (or maybe I am not their target clientele).

das ist mit Abstand das schlechteste Video von dir ever...aber es liegt bestimmt nicht an dir sondern an dem Resort selber Viel zu kleine Villa wo das Sofa direkt an das Bett angrenzend ist....wie komme ich zu dem Infinity Pool? muss ich mich um die sofas herumschlängeln? und dieses Farbkonzept!! ich hoffe dieses Resort wird wieder abgerissen.. es ist eines Male Dives Resort unpassend unnachhaltig..... ausser vielleicht die Sonnenkollektoren
Depressing shallow pools everywhere now, with no diving boards. So sad. If you can't swim, wade in the baby pool. Why does everything that's fun, like swimming down deep, grazing bottom, impossible to do anymore? The world is peopled by wimps.
This resort is horrible 😂😂😂😂😂😂 my goood!!!! I went in Maldive 8 years ago...and i saw really beautiful resort. This is horrible, even if I had a lot of money i will never spent them in this horrible resort
