I like Philippe’s because of the color variation, the balance and variety of plants used. Awesome.

All the Aquarium Gardens scapes are beautiful! My favorite scape is the beast. I love the overall composition, the fact that it’s designed to be a long-term, relatively low-maintenance (vis-a-vis trimming) aquascape that is suitable for a busy hobbyist to maintain. I have harlequins at home myself, and I love seeing mature ones in great condition like this-amazing color! My second favorite is Dave’s scape with the cardinals, although I personally would choose a more natural gravel color. Just my own taste; it’s lovely as is, of course. :) What a super shop!

The 1500 for me! The direction of the wood and the massive ferns give it a minimalist look at first glance, but close up you see there is more than meets the eye. Love it.

I love this video, even more so after today. I've bought plants online from AG before, but today was my first chance for a 300 mile round trip to the store to buy some equipment. Steve was fab, couldn't have been helpful. You could spend hours in that store just messing around with hardscape.... Loved it. In terms of my favourite scape, the Aquascaper 1500 is impressive but for me, has to be the 900. That thing is beautiful!!!

Favourite tank would have to be the 3 foot that Filipe did. The shape of layout and the plant selection and colour just appeal to me, I like his style. That Buce is possibly a type of Brownie Ghost. There are a few different ones, can be hard to tell from a little snippet of video but they are extremely hard to come by and I'm lucky to have a couple different ones that were very difficult to find. Great tour George, thank you.

Spoilt for choice! Best shop in the UK by far so many incredible scapes. Impossible to pick one! Top 4 - first iwagumi, reminds me of a hillside very creative. The two 900’s, great colour on the first, second great depth deception with the middle valley, finally the 1500 - looks the most natural for me, love it, and the ferns are stupidly big and dense. Stunning

The "900" Aquascape is my favorite. I love the splash of red color of the center stemplant. Although the "two island" scape is stunning as well. And non of the scapes is boring, really.

@vampgaia 5 лет назад
The beast is beautiful, I want those ferns! I also want that red plant from the island scape. The Iwagumi is lovely. I don't normally like Iwagumi (I favor the overly planted, jungle look), but the textures in this Iwagumi are amazing. I want to walk within the scape and touch all plants to feel their textures.

The beast is my favorit I think. I really like those massive logs and I like how they breaks the water surface, and all that super healthy trident fern just looks amazing. On top of that the tanks looks easy and fun to do maintencens on wich is probly the biggest reason I would love to have that tank in my own house!

I have noticed a lot of aqua scapes have clear (maybe glass) diffusers on the filters I have a fluval fx4 on a 300L tank and it’s quite an eyesore to look at in my aqua scape. Is it possible to use clear diffusers on a fx4 or is it a custom filtration system ?

So my three favorite are the beast and the ones Jurjis and Felipe did. I also love the Irigumi with the moss. I’m a huge fan of misses and how they provide different looks and textures. I suppose the beast is my top pick. 1. I love the size. I’m in America so I love big tanks. Lol. 2. I love the trident ferns.

It's the 1500 (125 us gallon) tank. Absolutely stunning, and more my type. Long way off getting my half pint version of this up to snuff. Might be cause I'm partial to all the bucephalandra hiding out in the tank. My second favorite would be the one Dave set up, again partial to Bucephalandra (Deep purple I suspect). Stunning. I also like the Iwagumi, but I feel like it is missing something to finish it off. Truthfully wouldn't know what to do for the finishing touch either. Wish there was a big enough tank to combine the Iwagumi and the Dave did! Wold look super cool with Iwagumi inspired center and heavy planted sides!

Absolutely LOVE this store! My choice would be the last tank, but it was hard to choose; loved the division, and the sand, both lent so much depth. George, (re Aquascaper 900) can I ask what you mean when you say you "don't have the time to maintain such a complex layout with all those stem plants"...how labour intensive is it? My first planted tank is relatively simple, but I'm looking at getting deeper into the hobby, and am not sure how much work such a tank would be. Thanks and cheers!

This hobby is annoying in Australia In europe asia they have dennerel tropica and ada avaliable to them while we only have pisces. Also I compared price seryiu stone and any drift wood is far cheaper in Europe and Asia also its hard to get Aquasoil and tools for a planted tank. Last point many Aussies with fish tanks only use plastic decor/plants i hope aquascaping gets more popular in Australia!!!!!!!

Hey George, I work in that business for 20 years now and looked out for an alternative to store plants ever since. Especially the aqua decor items. Hi George, your comment on the 1500 regarding the crypt growing emersed, triggered my inner science geek/nerd, as it technically is emergent growth. I know that the two words are used interchangeably in the hobby, but it still vexes me. I like Daves scape to most, although I would have liked it better if it had been less symmetrical and would like to see more of the stemplants in the back to contrast the lush green. Regarding the Buce in it, I think you asked that question in a video about a year ago (memory might fail me a bit here on the timeframe though), but I don't remember if someone came up with the answer back then.
