First of all, gotta say, I'm so glad y'all are back!!!! 😁❤ That being said, this song hit the nail on the head for me!! When I decided to get clean & sober, I changed my phone number, deleted all the numbers I had & moved to where I knew no one. Those choices then have helped me stay clean & sober for 10 yrs & 5 months!!! I am still truly grateful to be clean & sober & I am SO happy to hear of any addict beating their addiction!!! Proud of you Jai!!! 💯 Its so hard to do but its way beyond worth it!!!

I stopped smoking for 2.5 years as a requirement to several needed surgeries. The first 3 days were the hardest. Day 3 everyone around me thought I was going to have a mental breakdown. Still amazed I didn’t lose my job that day. I was out of control. Wasn’t a single day in that 2.5 years I didn’t want one. It was a conscious decision not to smoke. And one day, I caved. Been smoking again 3 years. I hate I ever picked them back up. Not strong enough to quit again, yet.

This song hits me deep. Kicked a bad drug addiction in 2004. Wow this is no joke, withdrawals is hard. And then getting to a sense of normalcy after your clean. To be able to feel happiness, without the drug. Yeah that took a couple years. Prayers for all who are trying to kick a habit that is needed to be gone. Great reaction Half n Jai!!! Me too, cuz I've been addicted to substances myself at one time. I just can't kick weed, but I've never viewed it as a drug in my 40 yrs on this planet

When, I stumbled and crashed hard. Withdrawing from certain things, I shouldn't have been taking. I hit the 3rd day and went down with a seizure. Waking in the ICU. Numbing my emotions and quiting cold turkey, about killed me. I remember, leaving ICU going straight to rehab. Thinking. Withdrawals about killed and, I was losing people to OD's left and right.
