Is it okay to read the NIV Bible? Does it the same as the KJV just easier to read?

One thing I'll say is that when Bible translations like the NIV say that Phobe was a deacon, know that's a mistranslation. It's not a contradiction in the proper translation (it would be if it was the right translation). The Bible has no contradictions. God bless and much love ❤️✝️

Does that mean all the criminals like rapist, murderers, thief can all Go to heaven because they believe Jesus is God and Jesus died on the Cross for their sins? In that case anyone can do anything?

Hi, Medina! All sins can be forgiven, but only if the criminal is genuinely sorry for your sins and turns from them. Think of it like this: if you were trapped in a burning building, and a firefighter rescued you, would you then punch him in the face? Of course not! In the same sense, Christians no longer want to do more sins and hurt Jesus because He rescued us. Anyone who calls themselves a Christian, yet does these things, prove that they haven't been given a new heart, and therefore aren't saved.

when you repent and place your faith in jesus, you kinda have to mean it you cant just say the words as if God can be tricked, He knows whats in your heart if you r@pe someone, murder someone, steal something, if you genuinely want to reconcile yourself with God than yes all you have to do is place your faith in Jesus this doesnt mean youre free from the worldly consequences of your actions, placing your faith in jesus wont stop the police from arresting you
