100% KAGEYAMA SHIGEO BABYYYY i just love this series so much

Mob handled rejection like a champ.

One small detail that I love is that Sho has now the same haircut as his father. Without using any words, this alone tells us how their relationship progressed after that previous episode :)

I love how they animated Reigen’s run towards Mob. Real nice touch that made this scene ten times more hype than in the manga.

Not going to lie, when I realized the surprise was Reigens birthday and remembered the call back to nobody remembering in season 2 I actually broke down lol

i really like that Tsubomi is her own character, she rejected him mainly she never saw him as more than a friend but she waited for him as she knew how hard it was for Mob to tell him that and gather the courage to go and tell her, after that she actually is more involved talking and getting to know him as a person, that could lead to something and thats cute, a good ending, they dont have to end together, she is not forced to be his gf and if it happens, it will happen with time.

Gonna miss seeing the wholesome relationships that Mob built with various characters in this show. Especially his relationship with Reigen and its transformation from a Master/Disciple one to a genuine friendship. Reigen is almost like a wise older brother to Mob, who being the oldest would have never been able to experience otherwise.

The show has made me tear up a bit once or twice in the past, but I don't remember the last time a show made me as legitimately emotional on a deep level like that scene with Reigen and Mob did. There were just so many emotions in that scene it was overwhelming.

ONE is the goat. He made such an impactful series that tackled something that shonen typically doesn't go deep into but also did it better than most slice of life and romantic anime

I like the ending with Tsubomi and Mob with the message. It was good she rejected him earlier since she herself didn't seem to be in a place to be romantically involved with people since she projected an image of herself, while also still masking herself underneath. So I like that her and Mob still have a friendship so that they can both be more open to one another as people and honestly they have a better shot to potentially end up together, but if not can at least be good friends. It shows that rejection with a crush doesn't have to be the end all be all sometimes that it feels like in the moment and things could work out better from it (even with the person that rejected you).

And Reigen proves once again he truly is the MC of this anime. Mob had alot of growth obviously but I think Reigen is the single most relatable character in any anime, just a normal mid 20's guy without any real direction and an inability to accept himself even though the viewers loved him from the start

Mob Psycho is simply one of it not the greatest shows ever made. It is incomprehensibly deep, funny, and action-packed. The characters are incredible, and this conclusion is impeccable. It is now my anime of the year.

The ending was so overwhelmingly happy and it made me cry

The quote "you need to pick of the things you feel are important" is what Mob says to Emi while he's picking up the torn up pieces of her novel. I remember because that episode never fails to make me cry.

We truly were blessed by such a perfect adaptation from manga to anime.

I think it's very rare to find a show where you cry more at wholesome moments than sad moments. No one died yet i kept shedding tears

In the beginning....Mob was disguised as a Shounen Anime (A redefining version of the genre at least), and in the end it turned out to be one of the most profound slice of life stories ever....

As soon as the op music started to play I was tearing up, they really know to build emotional tension! I knew the ending but was still so amazing. A rare anime to have a perfect adaptation IMO. Now I can safely say Mob Psycho 100 is in my top ten anime ever.

Mob has never cried like that before. It proves that he doesn’t hold back his emotions again like before. We saw him cry back in 1st season but it was his unconscious mind so his cry really hit me as much as his laugh at the end of the episode 😭😭😭😭😭😭

Mob is truly one of the goats of anime. What a work of art. We've honestly been spoiled this year with the amount of incredible shows that came out. Having mob psycho at the end of the year was the best present you can ask for. This is a show that I won't be forgetting any time soon.

Reigen truly is one of the best senseis of all anime. That might just be the first time he's celebrated his birthday with people that really cares about him.

I started bawling my eyes out when Reigen said he didn't want to lose to Mob so he secretly started working out.

I love that they literally use the most epic song and scene to highlight not the powers in the series but the most human moment.

I cried so hard when I saw Mob laughing at the end, the second greatest anime ever is over😢.

Got a terminal diagnosis around when Mob Psycho S1 started and Reigen's advice about Mob having powers (or any extra characteristics about you) does not have to define you. Just be a good person, that is all. That sobered me up. I never expected to internalize an advice from an anime in real life that really shook me to the core as a person. This anime has been truly one of the good things in life.

"You need to pick up the things you feel are important" was actually a Mob quote! He says it in season 2 episode 1, saying he's trying to consider his feelings more as he decides to help Emi pick up the tattered pieces of her novel even after she lied to him. Even just that episode was honestly one of the most powerful pieces of media I've ever seen. But the ending was also incredible and I'm going to be thinking about it for a long time.

i don't think i've ever cried at a show because of how heartwarming it is, but mob psycho PHEW literally keeps me bawling. watching mob become comfortable with himself and then seeing all the friendships he's made along the way, it's just SO touching! :,)

The fact that the opening for season 3 is named 1 is great. There's the obvious One and Bones reference, but also, compared to 100% it still sells the idea of a whole, but also of a unit, of an individual. Mob is now one and whole, the one and only Shigeo

I cried a shit ton at the ending too. what a beautiful way to end... I especially love how anime (and manga) are starting to portray female characters more healthily and as real people with their own identities and not just an object the main male character has to "own". typically in shows where the male character does something crazy or dramatic or heroic its expected for the female lead to love him and go out with him. its become such the norm especially in anime that there's a concerning amount of people who hate Tsubomi because she rejected him. Tsubomi does NOT owe Mob anything, she stayed because she genuinely views him as a good person, but that does NOT mean she loves him romantically. I was so happy to see the two of them continue a healthy close platonic relationship, Mob still living happily since like Tsubomi saw, he's a genuinely kind hearted and mature person; she doesn't have to worry about him only obsessing over her for her looks like every other guy

Mob finally accepted his emotions that's why for the first time we see him laughing and crying

It all tied up nicely with him finally accepting both his emotions and his powers as important parts of himself. Shigeo Kageyama is truly 100% now.

Mob is such a great kid. Seeing him finally accept himself, have fun and laugh with his friends - it's just amazing. Having everyone finally accept and thank Reigen on his birthday also lowkey broke me. Even Tome finding a job, becoming productive. That one will probably be overlooked a bit, but it's pretty great.

I remember reading the end some years ago and man… it’s one of the most simple and beautiful I ever found. There is something brilliant in closing a story in the most humble way (around the trauma and contradictions on one self and “cure” them thxs to the relationship we found, no matter if they started with a lie, love and acceptance can come after.) Kind of the way the relationship of tsubomi and mob is developing at the end, she say no thx I don’t feel that way YET, but thxs to that the relationship is evolving, now talking everyday, what happen next is for the reader/watcher to decide. But mob has accepted himself and can move on even if it doesn’t work.

Really great reactions, it's been a pleasure to watch! And ONE... you beautiful bastard. He's never lost sight of the true strength and meaning of this series and he wrote just a perfect arc to end it. I think Tsubome's immediate rejection was the absolute right choice to make as a writer. The message that the internal acceptance of oneself being so much more important and powerful than any external rejection is just a perfect note to underscore the series and Mob's growth. And Booooones! Please never change as a studio. Some of the art and animation in this episode was god-tier. The scene of Reigen running to the original OP is an instant all-time favourite. Arigatou gozaimasu to everyone involved. I hope they're truly proud of what they've done with the series, because they should be.

For anyone who wants a little more of Mob Psycho, the artist did a short 7 chapter spinoff about Reigen, which is mainly from the viewpoint of Tome (the Secretary) Fun fact: Mob trying to stop Reigen and Dimple is the ONLY time he has used both hands against anyone in the entire series

The message of One the mangaka is always so profound. I love mob, it feels like fighting inner demons and finally accepting himself is the ending. 10/10

17:38 there IS a little Reigen spin-off that takes place (I think) after the epilogue that shows the adventures of Tome as she works at S&S (with Serizawa, Dimple and Reigen). It’s a joy to read and I’m hoping they adapt it into an OVA.

I was crying the whole episode too and then after finding out that it was the series finally all I could do was curl up and cry some more.

This show really shows you different sides of depression, bi-polar disorder, etc. and heavily reflects on em', truly soul warming series!

This show literally taught middle school me how to be a good person. I will miss this show, but I will also be eternally grateful for what this show has done for my life.

Dimple is the only one who accepted both 100% and Mob wholeheartedly so it makes perfect sense that he's the one who helped Mob snap out of his episode when Ritsu, Teru, Reigen couldn't even do that.

For a show that has always been so weird whether it was it's characters or animation the ending is so simple yet really perfect for the show.

The last shot at the end with Mob laughing is everything. Edit: What's also great about what this ending shows you is that since I assume everyone their must know about reigen not having powers. It makes it easier for him to handle all the fraud cases where their are no actual spirits or whatever going on. He can just throw some salt everywhere and the customer will be satisfied. Haha.

Best coming of age story I've ever seen. Don't think we'll ever get a series as special as this one again

This show is such a relatable show. It depicts the emotions, struggles, anxieties and growth of a person. I'm sure people of all ages has experienced this and can relate. Most importantly it shows growth and maturity. It really is a show that keeps me grounded and take a step back to appreciate what is around me. In an unrelated note: I would reccomend the show "My Mister". Though it is a completely different genre since it's k-drama, it's another show that keeps me grounded and humbles me.
