There are a lot of events going on at the same time. It's been hard to keep up. And I'm a person who likes to enjoy the story and Spiral of Destiny. I would prefer if there were fewer events, and just increase the rewards given in the events.
I agree, I enjoy spiral of destinies, but lately I can' t play spiral of destines since there are more event. I am not complaining, since I got free luxites.
As a f2p these events are brutal. Voyage takes me about 4 hours per run. Fireside chat is like 5 hours per stage. Obviously, they could be cleared much quicker if you have a lot of tier 0 units.
To be honest, I haven't really felt like things are going too fast for me. For the most part, most of the events are pretty quick and easy to do, and most of the rewards I really care about (Pulls, Weapons/Trinkets) are easy enough to get pretty quick, afterwhich I can take my time and finish out the event and get most of the rest of the rewards with minimal time investment. My only real gripe may be with how quick the debut banners are coming out, because they only last for like 2 weeks and then we're on to the next one. This wouldn't be too bad of an issue, except that they are throwing out pretty meta units back to back to back, so unless you get super lucky and get a copy of each character in your first 10 to 20 pulls it can be hard for f2p or min spender to keep up. And the main thing I want to see far more of, more than anything else, is more Spiral of Destinies storylines. That aspect of the game is still the biggest draw for me, so having more full storylines added over time is my biggest hope for the future of this game. Especially since I'm finally at level 60... and everything that's 60 and above in the gacha part of the game is horrendously poorly balanced (trying to take my reasonably well-stated characters against a lvl70 encounter where the enemies all have 20,000 to 30,000 hp and completely immunity to knockback and everything else is borderline impossible regardless of how well equipped my team is)
Nicely said and I agree. SOD has been real fun. You can auto most of the events and dailies so you don't have to spend much time. My worry is indeed the back to back banner. I got lucky with Saff but had to go to pity for coco. Planning to pull for aug, homa and Taair if we get some break to get more Lux and of course getting lucky on the way.
It's overwhelming! i wish we have less events and better rewards because the rewards are as you said not worth it for the amount of time to complete the events :/
Great video. I've found it tough to complete all of the events, especially since I want to enjoy modes like Spiral of Destiny and the new story chapters. I like all the rewards but am finding it difficult to keep up with the game and events.
I am going to play VoD as much as I can since I really enjoy the game mode, as for Fireside Chat I just did the reasonable difficulty for me as it is quite hard since I don't have some very meta characters like Inanna and Beryl Auguste is must pull since he's like Orlandeau gone rogue
It’s great. People who have time and are willing, they can really max out rewards. People who are busy irl / don’t want to then grab what you want. It’s a video game not a job so do what is fun when it is fun
The pacing isn't too bad, and while sure you have the option to do minimal effort for the most important rewards- I do not enjoy that some luxites are locked behind fairly difficult and demanding conditions. The combos of fireside chat are pretty difficult even with the right characters and don't leave much room for misteps- not to mention the investment you have to put on characters you may not have leveled up. Sure there's massive catch up opportunities with those double rewards rushes, but even then it's not that much when you've got a whole team to adjust for the difficulty.
Lots of events not enough stamina they need to increase the stamina cap and how much it regenerates specially when you wanna try to speed run to rank 55. Also the battlepass doesnt give you enough rewards for the amount your paying compared to other games and a guaranteed pull at the cash shop just cost too much that you can already buy a couple games with it :(
There was a somewhat dry spell for a while and now it seems like there's a torrent of them. Also, the harder difficulty ones shouldn't reward luxite as it rewards either spending more on pulls/resources or cheese strats which are both annoying options.
It can be a bit much at times...but I just prioritize the things that end early and do the events that last longer when I have time. I just recenrly finished the SoD event quests. It took me like 4 weeks to finish it on the side. The only event I haven't finished was the real time PvP one. I still have 8 stamina pots left to do some more Voyage for the talent mats. And I'm waiting for Auguste to finish up the Fireside event...but I'm not gonna bother with the combo rewards...I hate events that arbitrarily use optional debuffs to artificially increase the difficulty...Fireside rewards are abysmal for the amount of time it takes.
Attention: The new Spiral of destinies has 3 different endings. I got the "Ring a Ding Ding" Ending of the expansion and I wanted to say that it really feels like the "true ending", expeacially since it added a post credit scene introducing a new threat. hinting at the next arc. SPiral of Destnies is by far the best part of this game I think. Stories are superb :)
Voyage of Discovery is one of the best events for 1 reason only, the hard stamina/timegate of talents and stars. That single event pushed my characters over 3k battle power. Don't discount it, it is also one of the best gold farms to date.
She's on lunch break. Like yo... I think this just comes from a lack of understanding of how important that talent page is...people don't understand how many stats are locked in there
The Voyage of Discovery one was the first event that really put major pressure on me as far as events go, since I really wanted the talent materials. I can clear lvl 5 80% of the time but after getting unlucky 3 times I dropped down to lvl 4 and still felt like I was struggling (The Agatha room and the duel one with Magnus and Alexei were getting on my nerves). (Correct me if I’m wrong here) And for some reason if you don’t have enough stamina you fail the entire thing unless you use stamina potions, so you are forced to keep the last boss quest undone until you have enough. However even then if the last room is too much for you you’ll have to restart anyways. Idk why they didn’t make a sweep feature. This was the first time I didn’t bother getting all the rewards from an event bc it was eating too much of my time.
I enjoy the events and I like the tactical portion of the game so I'm happy with the challenging stuff personally. I also just have a lot of time compared to most people so it's easy for me to knock everything out though.
Not many but takes days to complete and it's useless to spend so much times to do difficult tasks which only reward you an amount of luxies worth a single pull😂 In other games they give many rewards at easy difficulty and less at higher to encourage people enjoy the event with the best experience, they even make veteran difficulty with no reward for type of gamers who want to try hard and this game is opposite
I feel like there's two main reasons for all of the Events: A) they're trying to catch up to the other versions of the game, so just like the banners, they feel very rushed for us, and B) they really want this to be our Only Game. If events are quick, we can pick up another game, and they don't want that.
I've been ignoring a lot of events because i've been spamming material farming, exp farming, etc. Trying to high level my team to stomp story mode and events.
I would say, they in fact been making a lot of events but please don't complain about it. I'd rather have to much than 7ds typa events (being playing for too long and what a relief to play a very F2P sided game). It may be a lot but we can actually prioritize on Luxite, each event gives you a certain amount of Luxite. Think it is better to have a 7 day event for 450 Luxite than 1 event per month for 1800 Lxt
I don't know why everyone is trying to make this an issue. Different people have different amounts of time for games. That's okay. There is simply no reason to expect that a game which targets a large audience will have exactly the amount of content that suits your schedule.
The amount of events are ok. Not all are hard ones. Also the Spiral of Destinies is one of the LONGEST event I believe it started with about 45 day or more? So you do have A LOT of time to complete it. I was doing that one little by little moving 1-2 weeks a day until I finished it.
99 talent mats.....you prioritized the wrong thing...99 talent mats omg...your tripping that luxite means nothing compared to 99x talent mats and ores.... Also you can auto on difficulty 4 and still get good rewards....like the overall account progression is like... wayyyy more than whats basically a 20 pull.
