Thanks for showing all the different levels of acrylic paints. I too like to test a lot of traditional art materials. Have you tried what they call tempera sticks in your sketchbook?

You are welcome! I have not tried the tempera sticks in my skethcbook. I heard another artist talk about them, but they seem to be made for kids without pigment info, or lightfast ratings. I do enjoy art crayons though, like Neocolor 2. I actually did a video on the topic and compared all of my brands. Hi there, I like watching your videos. Is there a difference between the words transparent and translucent in art materials? Would like to see more of your artwork. It will be interesting to see how your channel changes throughout the years. Greetings from Irvine, CA. Complexion color is a base color for portraits. The name is a reminder I guess. I too went to art college in Chicago and I was taught to put orange first as the first color on canvas and then when dry a blue 😅❤

Thank you! The difference in art materials between the two term would be Transparent let's light or what's under the material to completely come through. Transluscent is light or what's under the art material to not be completely covered, such as opaque, but not see-through as Transparent is.
