Sup people! Here's what we think of @SangeetVerse underrated Indian singers Watch our latest Movie Review of QALA here: • QALA - Hauntingly Beau... Wlsk xoxo & Efra :) / wlsk15 / realefraherrera #India #singers #bollywood
I was sobbing like a 3 year old while watching Sanam teri kasam and it was my first time crying while watching a movie😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 BUT PLEASE WATCH IT, IT HAS AMAZING SONGS, I REALLY WANT TO WATCH IT AGAIN WITH YOU GUYS. PLEASE 😢
@please dont watch it ..its cringe .Waleska-Herrera ..its exactly like the trailer ..just indian audience is wierd sometimes ..they think abuse is love
Just watch Sanam teri kasam.. music is by himesh reshamiya and every song is so good like aashiqui 2 album... the trailer is kind of misleading.. it became a classic now.. so do give it a watch... really want to see your reaction or do a poll between SANAM TERI KASAM, HAMARI ADHURI KAHANI, EK VILLAIN All of them have great songs and acting is so good by the actors
"SANAM TERI KASAM" is the bestest movie ever it is not toxic you need to watch the whole movie don't judge it by trailer only I promise you'll cry after watching the movie it's so good.
The reason why Indian audiences criticize the morals of the character is bcoz here people, especially the younger generation fail to separate art from reality. Teens and young adults get influenced by the movies and try to incorporate those mannerisms in real life. After Animal was released, boys literally started looking up to that character , glorifying n justifying his actions.
That's not the director's fault bruh. An art is an art. He clearly stated it's for 18+ and if someone is such a chutiya to incorporate those in real life then that's that person's problem. Doesn't give you an excuse to blindly criticise a movie.
Tbh, I've not met a single person who justifies Ranbir's character in Animal. I've found very few people actually who despite appreciating the film actually don't defend his actions.Literally everyone trolls it.
@@adityamukherjee7038it is, when you are a public figure, whatever you provide to the masses, it matters, especially when we are country which till date to major extent takes inspiration and follows a character and tried to justify it. Have you seen how a part of general population justifying and praising the abusive things shown, that's where the problem is when you start idealizing it and not just take it as a movie. For ex- After tere naam, every other young guy was going to get that dumb Tere naam hairstyle, justifying his toxic behaviour, same during Kabir Singh justifying his violence towards Priti. Sadly our country is very impressionistic from fictional characters. Also the director of Animal in a national television interview openly justifying violence beating abuse to your partner by saying if you don't do that to your partner it's not love. What message is this giving, it's literally normalising violence that's where the problem is. Also I am from psychology field, I can assure the level to which media movies series character portrayals etc impacts and influences our mentality subconscious mind is not negligible, we obviously don't realise it on conscious level but it does to a great level.
Animal- main character is outright toxic. If anyone justifies him in real life, it's a huge red flag. Avoid their company. If it is someone proposing to you or you are about to marry, break the relationship and run for your life.
@@adityamukherjee7038nah man. Some dialogues were depicted in such a way that it seemed like it was glorified like it was normal and we weren’t supposed to feel disgusted or cringe because of how things turn out later or how the actors carried it or even the bg music.
5:00 Efra, you need to swap life with Abhishek Bachchan. He dated Rani Mukherjee for a long time. After they broke up, he got married to Aishwarya Rai. 😅
The funny thing that efra totally missed rani in the songs she was in (hum tum and aga bai) and was seeing her in the song which jas nothing to do with her (pari pari) 😂.. Aishwarya and Rani does not have any movie together but there is a movie in which rani replaced aishwarya as a lead (chalte chalte) and due to this there was news of silent rift among the two.. And guess what who was responsible indirectly...?? 😉 Yes It was salman khan who became the reason of her getting ousted (indirectly though) 😂.. Also the guy you thought akshay kumar was abhishek bachchan , aishwarya's husband.. But it was very old movie and they started dating years after that..
Cmon guys . That song was not from Zindagi na mile gi it was from Bang bang. Also that wasn’t Rani, that was Rimi Sen The guy you said was Akshay Kumar was Abhishek Bachan lol You know Aish’s husband and Amitabh’s son. Y know this lol Babul is super underrated. Both Babul and Neeraj have had their own albums come out and the latter became super popular with his covers back in the day because he remixed and added new or “modern” touches to them. For Babul I would recommend Khoya Khoya Chand. It’s off of his own music album and it’s a gorgeous Romantic song For Neeraj, it has to be Pyaar ke naam pe from the movie Rules, Pyar Ka Superhit formula
@@sunshine1016 if we don’t tell them how will they know. They are already getting wrong info lol like Rani was 17 in KKHH or that she was uncomfortable with the short dress and they have already recognized Abhishek properly in previous videos. And they have watched ZNMD, they should know that song was not in the movie
James is a Bangladeshi rockstar. One of the greatest ever not only in Bangladesh, but also the subcontinent. He's nicknamed as GURU or The Boss. He has few hindi songs you can try. 1/ Alvida 2/ Chal Chale Apne Ghar 3/ Bebasi 4/ Bheegi Bheegi Si Hai Raatein He had more offers to settle in Mumbai and work in Bollywood. But he didn't want to as he can't stay away from his home and language.
4:10 efra & waleska... Guys please please react to this song... Name is ambarsariya😍, it's very different from other romantic songs🥹. A little naughtiness, little shyness and innocence in this song is what I LOVE about this song. My go to song when I feel sad, it just brings smile on my face😅
Everytime don't go with the trailer....Watch d movie & songs then only I guys would understand how deep d meaning of the storyline for this movie is....
13:15 you guys should totally review this song. It's called yoon shabnami. It's ranbeer Kapoor's debut movie I think. All songs of that movie are very artistic
Please do not demean Sanam teri kasam....Do watch it and I bet you won't regret. There is no toxicity . Just pure love. Please do watch it. Don't just judge it by trailer.
i get that it might be a beautiful one of a kind movie and story for you and many more but honestly the film is half baked too long poorly scripted and a lot more there are films eons better than sanam teri kasam for them to watch as beginners in indian cinema
9:39 No no no, don't compare shit traumatic movie like Animal with this movie (Sanam Teri Kasam). It's a complete opposite movie, it's heartbreaking emotional passionate love story. The male Character Inder is the love of every girl who have watched this movie. Watch it, it's a beautiful movie, but be ready to cry like a baby. Also beautiful songs 💖😭😌✨. I cry everytime I watch this movie.
I raised 75k and Christine Evelyn Mackie is to be thanked. I got my self my dream car 🚗 just last weekend, My journey with her started after my best friend came back from New York and saw me suffering in dept then told me about her and how to change my life through her. Christine E. Mackie is the kind of person one needs in his or her life! I got a home, a good wife, and a beautiful daughter. Note: this is not a promotion but me trying to make a point that no matter what happens, always have faith and keep living!
< I know that woman(Christine Evelyn Mackie) If you were born and raised in new York you'd know too, No doubt she is the one that helped you get where you are!!!!
Problem with film like Animal was it justified his actions. Violence, toxicity, misogyny had always been there but wrong part is glorifying and justifying it. Director literally said it is okay to hit your women in the name of love in interviews.
Mohan is amazing. He is also part of a band called Agnee which has some amazing songs. You must check him out. Aahatien, Kiase ho tum, Shaam tanha are some of the songs from the band.
Just give it a try and watch Sanam Teri Kasam, I swear you will be bawling it is such an amazing film you will love it and your misconceptions will be cleared about this movie.
9:58 It's not about values, but my issues with films like Animal, Kabir Singh etc are that there is nothing wrong with making movies with characters who are evil or misogynist, the problem lies in the way the filmmakers and actors who portray these characters try to glorify them. Look at Penn Badgley who's been playing a manipulator/serial killer in You. He has never once defended his character and makes it known that he despises those actions and they shouldn't be glorified. Indian filmmakers and actors should take a note of that and learn.
I feel there are still many singers that you guys should look into even more - would really love a deeper dive on some new punjabi artists and hip hop podcast !
Mohan Kannan is the lead vocalist of the band Agnee which is a very famous indie pop/rock act. They and Shilpa Rao have a collab called I Believe which was created on this fusion music show called The Dewarists.
10:16 It is not just toxicity that the character is portraying, but the actual problem is that a large faction of the males (teenagers and YA) in Indian society for some weird reason can't differentiate between toxic traits and being cool and gets highly influenced by these characters. They develop that character within themselves and start acting like them. It happened with Kabir Singh, Animal and many more... I know, it's not the fault of the movie makers, and neither is it their duty to preach moral values, but the aftermath of these movies are just way too problematic to even discuss on YT. There are several news reports of those individuals and what they did in delusion of being like that ‘cool’ character from that ‘cool’ movie.
@@manny4256 Yep, didn't like the plot, but I personally had no problem with the cinematography or the acting. However, I do agree it's a BAD movie because of the nonsensical plot.
That's not the director's fault bruh. An art is an art. He clearly stated it's for 18+ and if someone is such a chutiya to incorporate those in real life then that's that person's problem. Doesn't give you an excuse to blindly criticise a movie. *I make a sketch of a fruit, that's art and I make a sketch of a naked woman, well that's also art.* It depends on how you see it. Shakespeare was a horrible person, his dramas also have horrible subplots but they're still a work of art. That's what I'm saying ki if you have to criticise then criticise the people who are trying to copy Ranvijay's character rather than blindly abusing the movie and the director. The director is also a human being after all. And for those, who are saying I'm a fan of Animal, chutiyapa na karo tumlog. I liked the craft and that's where it ends. Being an English Literature Hons student, I objectively analyse any work of art whether it's a novel, drama or cinema. Nothing with being a fan tho so stop having preconceived notions about me when you don't know me. I found a lot of things in the movie problematic, especially Ranvijay cheating on his wife. What I'm trying to say is that art has different forms. This is a movie about toxic characters. Every character in the movie is toxic including Rashmika's character who left such a good man for someone as psychotic as Ranvijay. I'm just saying that people shouldn't be blindly criticising the movie and the director, rather watch the movie objectively and understand the craft like the good screenplay, awesome acting by everyone especially RK, Anil sir and Bobby sir, the different tonality of the film, the outstanding music, etc. I'm a cinephile and that's where the matter ends. Baki kisi ko movie achha nahi laga toh uska opinion hain alag baat hain. Hope I could make my point crystal clear!!😊
@@adityamukherjee7038 Did you read the second paragraph? I mentioned that it's not the movie maker's fault. Also, my real criticism is about the plot that could have been shortened without extra nonsense that was in the movie for no reason, and it made the movie seem directionless at certain points. So, I'm not blindly criticising the movie. I have reasons that I mentioned.
Yup the second half could have been shortened but it's not as bad as people make it to be. And it's a bold new approach which was appreciated by a lot of people, but sadly people made it an art vs morality debate and few people especially women got extremely triggered by it.
My introduction to Mohan Kannan was via their band "AGNEE". In my humble opinion, the most iconic song from the band was Aahatein. You should definitely check it out.
1:00 He gave some of the classic bollywood (hindi) songs, but despite getting several bollywood songs project he rejected bcz he wanted Assamese songs/fims to be known in other parts of India. (ZUBEEN GARD IS ALSO A FILM DIRECTOR, ACTOR, COMPOSER, etc). He gave Assam's first huge blockbuster film (i guess). Even now if he goes in any music festival to sing or just for a visit, people just goes crazy for him, n u have no idea how crazy stuff people do. Also, whenever Arman malik, arijit singh and other bollywood singers comes to Assam, they just sings a zubeen garg's song for treat, and there the audience goes crazy... thats zubeen garg. (Also, zubeen garg have also sung several bengali songs, and he is quite famous in kolkata, nepal, other states of North East.) 12:13 That film and its songs were too good.
U are so underrating this beautiful movie.... Sanam Teri Kasam is a masterpiece love story.. no toxicity... Every girl fell in love with the main man.... His way of loving is just so pure.... Don't judge a book by it's cover... The movie is all hearts and pure 💕💕💕💕
James is the Bangladeshi singer & composer. His band name is NOGOL BAUL. You will not regret listening to his songs. He's a legendary bangladeshi artist.
7:32 Heck yessssssss!!!!!! Would love to see you guys check out Mohan Kanan! The thing is, majority of his stuff isn't in Bollywood. He is actually a part of a band called "Agnee" (my literal favourite rock band in India besides "The Local Train", which is also an indie-rock band). Agnee launched their debut album in 2007, I still listen to some of those songs daily (Aahatein, Kaise ho Tum etc). Mohan hasn't only sung Hindi songs, pretty sure they have Telugu or Tamil as well (someone please correct me if I'm wrong). But yeah, please do check him out. ❤
James is the most popular singer in Bangladesh, from Bangladesh. You should definitely check out his album and concert songs. In concerts, he has to do very little. To be at his concert is an experience. You can check out why.
I live gor these songs uk... but sometimes we forget the names nd stuff ... i feel like i can make my 2000's playlist just by watching ur vids😭😂... u ppl do a good of exploring the real gems.....lots of love🫶🫶
