Ever since our practice round at Robbins to prepare for that ardg tourney, my mind set has been way better. Clear mind helps with my decision making and that effects the disc choice and lines to take. Robbins will always hold a special place in my heart for that reason haha, the best tourney finish I’ve had so far too! Glad to see you’re back to posting MH, and great job at the tourney this past Saturday! 💪🏽
Molt, what kind of discs would you recommend for someone who is interested in trying disc golf for the first time… I was on my way home from work and realized that there’s a small course near by… seems fun and I think I could really enjoy learning the game… thanks for any help… love the videos molt… I’m a long time fan of your work…👍👍👍
This is just my opinion, but I'd start with a neutral mid range. Innova Mako3 is really good. You can use it for one disc rounds to see if you like it. It drives and putts well enough to get by until you get a little more serious. Whatever you decide, I definitely wouldn't go higher than a 6 or 7 speed disc. Good luck out there! I hope you love it as much as I did and still do. 😁🥏🥏🥏
Good beginner Trilogy (Latitude 64/Dynamic Discs/Westside - the brand Molt throws) discs to start with: Pure (Putter/Approach) Fuse (Midrange) River (Fairway) They are all neutral - straight - discs that are glidey and will be excellent learning discs. When you can throw those on multiple lines, it is time to add a Harp, an Explorer, and a 9-speed driver like an Escape.
