The FOMO is real! I almost bought several KS0 Pro's, but I ultimately came to the conclusion that $5 a day is not going to change my life in any meaningful way. I just set up our KS3 and have 2 more KS3M's on the way. I have no idea if it will pay off, but the potential, for me, is worth the risk.
@@Yo7Yo Depending on the difficulty and hasrates that come with that. It will almost always be "profitable" but at what amount $5-6 a day or at the low end a buck or 2 who knows.
It's not a bad choice. It's probably not the best choice. I don't think you'll lose money, you just won't make as much profit as if you bought the coin at .05. Right? A better choice doesn't mean the other choice is a bad one.
@@jgreat4785 That’s the exact position of thought I was in. Smash buy kas or get another ASIC. I chose the latter and in my gut knew it was not the optimal choice.
I've heard got kaspa miner, stop the stream and get the financial advice, thanks RPM and if you can put pressure on iceriver to ship the November ones will be nice hahaha
Ks0 pro PSU is 19vdc, the asic itself says you should use 19vdc. Moving over to 12vdc is going to up the amp draw and i have a feeling well eventually lead to premature failure for running the wrong voltage over a long period of time. That's just my opinion though
Looking at the block reward decrease combined with the increasing network hashrate, the current price for the KS0 pro is already into the speculative territory again. A lot of FOMO as you point out in people that haven't run the numbers.
And even for those that have... the price appreciation over the last year has been surprising. I bet we continue to see more growth, but expect more growing pains as well. It's been fun! Lol
Dude, if you are selling your KAS for fiat as you go along, to pay your rent, don't bother. However, if you believe that KAS will go to 5 bucks and you do not have to sell, it is a no-brainer... a KS0Pro does 1 Kas per hour right now... if you cannot do the math on what that means at a 5 dollar KAS price in 2025, stop mining, go apply to McDonald's... ;) You know the stats - halving every year, in 12 monthly increments... do the math, or suffer for it. I did the math, and I will buy more miners...
"the network hashrate can go up to obliviion..." It's on the launch pad baby. Just waiting for all the deliveries. Come Christmas, that KSO pro is going to be making 20-25 coins per day.
@@Financial_Failure correct his is 12v. Wonder if someone can take a C13 plug and wire it into the laptop psu cable which has a weird 3 barrel plug for me.
So I have 4 units now, and wanted to share an observation on the temps. All units are in a cool 18 C basement, internal fans at 100%, external 120mm fans at 100%, and one unit is running at a cool 47 /32 C, and the hottest 53 / 33 C... I would like to know whether the temp is read out from the processing unit internally, or whether there is a temp feeler attached to it between the die and the heatsink, basically good or bad execution from unit to unit, from case to case, which is responsible for the discrepancy...? Anybody knows how this works?
Wasn't the same being said 6 months ago or whenever the KS0 came out? People said use caution then and people missed out. It's not FOMO at this point it's PMO (people missed out).
The reason people were caution back then is because Ice River had an unproven track record and came out of nowhere. The possibility of it being a scam was very, very real. All those people were wrong about the scam aspect.
hi, I noticed that after updating the fireware /Incidr-Exo120 or Exo140, Exo150, Exo160/ my asic KS0 turns off for 1 hour every day. Does it do this to anyone else? Thanks for every reply.
I bought kso pro it will come 10th December to me. Could you please tell us last three months rewards? (Not as USD$, as a caspa coin amount). I want to make prediction for next months 2024.
I was randomly wondering right now, wether or not you are trading your mining/farming profits for something like ethereum to stake it for even more profit or buying even more graphics cards from it.
I'm just hoping one day someone is like hey what's your address I'll send you a gpu or 2...maybe a motherboard with a nice cpu, stacked with ram, couple nice harddrives...yeah pretty much everything seeing as the airline thought it was a bomb and took some of it and the rest was doused with some kind of liquid...just ruined
even if there is not a return on investment in 3 months in a year ,it might slow down to 6 months. that still isn't bad. considering most asic miners take a year and over to return the investment. but that isnt even counting crypto prices rising. with all the banks that have been failing lately. i personally think it is a pretty safe bet to invest in crypto.
Barriers to entry from the perspective of a bankrupt former miner from Europe: High electric cost in my country (incl. hidden fees) Rapidly increasing mining difficulty Due to FOMO way overpriced ASICs with dubious ROI Low risk tolerance after getting burned several times
