The minion who has a crush on Lucy is Dave. He's also the minion who got a little too excited when Gru said he was going to steal the moon and shot a rocket into all the other minions. He's my favorite of all the minions!

I remember that in July of 2013 when this movie was released, my grandma told me that i was going to have a dog for my 14th birthday, i saw this film and made me decide the name for my dog, my dog's name is Lucy just for this film, she has been living 10 years with me, and she's still with me

You didnt show it but when the purple minion notices the yellow minion he points and screams, this is a reference to Invasion of the Body Snatchers, both the original 1956 and 1978 films. You should definitely watch them

I love the two minions laughing at Ramsbottom. The first time I saw that, I was howling. And when the one minion catches the duck, and he looks at it and quacks. And when Gru burns the phone, and the three minions come in, the one just randomly swinging the axe, and the other one making the siren sound. The whole movie is filled with great comedic bits, but those three parts always get to me.

In the beginning of the movie when the 2 Minions are stumping the fruit to make jams & jellies, one of them falls in & pops up with a tall headdress of fruit. That is an omage (sic) to a Hispanic singer, dancer, actress of the 40's & 50's by the name of Carman Miranda. She danced in movies with Bob Hope, Abbott & Costello, etc.

Accents aren't racist. There are tons of different accents among white people even in the US. To support that from the movie, the woman was white and so is Gru. That aside, good reaction, I enjoyed it.

I have such wonderful memories of this movie, from when it first came out. My goddaughter was about five then and spent a week with me because her mother had to travel and this was the first movie I ever took her to. We both had a great time. And she's old enough to vote now and is going to college ... yikes ...

Literally, the girls have grown up a bit as they're a bit taller than in the first movie. It's a bit more noticable in the mini-movies Home Improvement and Training Wheels where in the former Agnes is slightly shorter than the average sized Minions but in the latter, she is slightly taller than them.

Chronologically, you can watch Minions (2015) after this movie. Then watch Despicable Me 3, before Minions 2.

The serum is kinda crap really. The only thing it worked on was the rabbit at the start. The Minions were pretty much indestructible already (one of them literally survived the vacuum of space in the first film) and El Macho was taken out by a lipstick taser (admittedly directly to the eyeballs!) and a fart gun when he took it
