@@madelinecrist7330 you r absolutely right but my point was not everyone is so good at acting that they can act to be exact opposite of their basic nature.
he's so loud, playful and likes to joke around, such a clown haha so so different from Lin Yiyang and he played his character so well! Jinmai is such a baby always laughing to his jokes!
The book describes this kiss very well, in fact the book describes their intimacy in detail. The drama version must have been cut by the censors which is a shame.
He’s such an incredible actor and I love his real playful personality sooo much but I just wish he’d take a role that is close to his real personality!! He keeps accepting these stuck up and rigid characters e.g Ling Buyi, Lin Yiyang😭😭 sir come on!!!
It's not that he doesn't play roles close to his RL personality. You just have to watch more projects of his. He's actually played mostly silly, extroverted characters since he was a young kid. Things like "Romance of the Condor Heroes", "Pal Inn", "Magic Star", etc. Some of his more extroverted works as an adult include works like "Fights Break Sphere", "Upcoming Summer", "Nothing But You", "Tomb of the Sea", "Our Times". Reality is, he plays extroverted characters way more than introverted ones. The only introverted characters he's played as an adult so far are "The Long Ballad", "Love like the Galaxy", and "Amidst a Snowstorm of Love". Ashile Sun from TLB was his first serious, introverted role as an adult, and, at the time, people didn't know if he could convincingly play such a serious/stiff character. He's talented and versatile enough to do either though. Both match him well.
@@divinearia1601 oh really? I have to see early works then! I’ve been watching through his filmography from 2024 downwards. Just finished nothing but you🫣 I’ll check out the others you mentioned
