Christina absolutely kills it as a host on these videos. She has been such a kick ass addition to the channel this year. She's hilarious, gives great info and always seems to be having a good time filming. Not to mention she is a shredder when she gets on the bike. Always looking forward to the next one. Enjoy the now steed Christina!
aww come one, my first debt. I take is because of new bike day. But I need that extra for maybe this part dont fit ect. I am building my own so some stuff wont work :P
seat height. leg straight, with the heel on the pedal. that gives you the right bend. and fine tune from there. also, you can fit sausage rolls and hotdogs in that frame. make your friends jealous of your meal, as opposed to their lame snack.
I got a new MEGATOWER about three weeks ago & this whip is awesome. I just got home from an awesome ride trip with her where we went to Moab Utah Crested Butte, Breckenridge CO Angel Fire New Mexico and now I'm back in Oregon. After all of that she's now broken in. But I guess I better check them bolts now🤔
Dang, I never even considered a Slash because I'm a weak climber and ride more trails that require I have to pedal to the top. She made that look so easy up hill. Also, wanted to say, great video and great presentation.
Insane Brain: Ha Ha. We used to do that with small boulders in guys whitewater play boats. (If you’re not familiar with whitewater kayaks they are very short maneuverable boats - about 6’ long).
I'm currently anxiously waiting to get my first full Sus. I decided on the Vitus Mythique VRX 29 and I've been watching for the past week for the 2021 model to finally go on sale. I'm hoping this video is a good omen! Either way, very informative and appreciated!
Yep!! When you have a new bike or new wheels, you should definitely check the tension after a few laps. They settle in eventually but it takes a bit -Christina
If know something trek is so cool, thé bikes are so usefull on Any terrain and lines i have a hardtail trek (wahoo) and this bike support me in downhill and enduro so well
I bought my medium bike when I was 5,3 at the start of January and now I’m almost 5,10 and need to size up for a large, having a bike that’s a bit big ain’t a bad thing cus having a bike that’s too small feels worse (in my opinion)
Hard tails are the bikes with only the front fork. They are a nice ride but are a bit bumpier. You can put more power on the road with a hardtail though, because of the lack of rear suspension
I've been riding xc for many years, just took my new polygon t8 trail bike for a ride. Why is it hard to control? Do I just need to get use to the geometry? Please help, thx
5'4" and ride a small. It's a fair amount longer then my last Slash which is good bc I prefer the longer and more stable fits. Still loves to jump! -Christina
Every bike needs a snack storage! Are you running any tire inserts, PSI seems really low? Obviously some of this has to do with size of the rider, but if I run 20psi I feel like I have a flat almost.
I've never run tire inserts. At about 130lb, I've always had good luck with carbon rims and dh or supergravity casing tires. Happy to run a heavier tire if it means no inserts and less pressure -Christina
2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo Yeah I know After riding a cheap $400 mtb on blue / black trails I can understand where the money goes on a $4k aus mtb bike 5-7 years of fun tho
Changing the air pressure in the shock/fork requires bouncing around to transfer the air to/from the negative chamber, otherwise the sag measurement won't be correct. It doesn't have much to do with lubing the seals. Plus, setting up the rear suspension's pressure based on the sag value is, if you ask me, most important, if you bottom out with the given pressure, add tokens. The sag value affects the antisquat characteristic of the bike and having it set wrong can cause the bike to bob when climbing. Even if it is 'all about descending', it makes sense to conserve energy with easy tricks going up, so you can bomb that much harder going down.
P J: WTF? Why do jackazz’z feel the need to comment on women’s physical appearances on a public forum? Women into mtb don’t do it to men. Have some self respect and manners dude.
You know it's a great day when a new PB Chappetta video comes out! In our house we call her buff pink bike lady and love when new videos presented by her come out!
All youtube mountain bike channels always getting new bikes costing alot. Im happy with a used specialized 2008 fsr xc that cost me £300 delivered off ebay lmfao. How long you use a bike for before replacing it?
