My crucible run got me him and magneto x and superior iron man. I thought i was only happy with superior iron man now im happy about pulling him after seeing this showcase

Luckily I got him after doing the Crucible & I-Hulk.. also managed to get Wags from the 7hr crystal & was gonna take him up, but now this video got me wanting to take Punisher up.. tbh, I never used him b4, so glad I check3d this out!

Awesome showcase. Just for guys who are not familiar with Pun 99, Punisher here is unduped so starts at 40% battery and takes more time to get to 100 for overdrive. Once duped he starts at 65% battery so fights will be 10-15 secs faster on average. That's how good he is! 😎

And if you had him duped I would be even more jealous then he would be the epitome of power control and he even stops healing(when the opponent gains regen they don’t heal and when it expires he’ll block or something along those lines) as well as evade in his sp2

Pun 99 dupe will make him much faster on attack, if you wanna counter galans or photons where you dont want them to throw sps. His dupe will make him a solid dual threat option in your bgs roster.

The best relic for him seems to be green goblin. In the video the guy alternates between green goblin and hulkbuster relics, but the hulkbuster relic does nothing for punisher

I’d suggest Green goblin for the slight reduction in special costs, or Vision for the energy damage and extended heal block duration. Unfortunately, no relics significantly boost his kit, so feel free to choose whichever works best as a combo extender.

Nope, no points in collar tech. Max collar tech will probably even let you take on a bullseye aw boss without him getting a single bar. It's very tempting.

He is an okay choice based on the other meh choices. But one of my best gauges to measure a champ's worth is if you see them regularly in battlegrounds or war.Punisher is like IWIM, good but doesn't excel at anything.

Agreed, he's been doing wonders on my bg defense. I suspect Silk and Gladiator will be the ones who can reliably take him down with near perfect health, but he still puts in work!

I would say hold on to it as he only needs sig 1 and Cmm just gets more duration on indestructible, so its upto you honestly.

The meta is definitely moving towards Rank 3s, so keeping champs at Rank 1 isn't the best call if you plan to use them for defense. Awakening boosts his offensive utility, but even unduped, he'll still be annoying on defense.

His 6 star version is solid with easy access to the awakening, but the 7 star really stands out with better stats. If you love Pun 99, the 6 star is still worth the investment!
