watching these videos makes me realize how much of a badass I am

Our sport is so dangerous that paramedics are required to be on-site during all competitions. And that may not be enough to save you when things go wrong.

someone asked me the sport I did and even though its not as dangerous as riding a horse I told them I did in-hand with my horse. if you dint know what that is, its where you run the horse around a ring and make them trot in a straight line and do fancy stuff. they said I should try a real sport and I said:"ok maybe I will but have you ever been pulled to the floor by a pony and then dragged along the ground and then trampled by that same horse?" they just said "no, but I have been hit in my arm by a football. same thing" and I was just like "wow, just wow"

in a few other versions of this people were saying "Oh the poor babies. Tell that to my sore soccer feet and ankle", which made me scoff.

I watched this video a while ago and said to myself, "Nobody has ever asked me these things and said that horse riding is easy!" But the very next day my friend said all of these things! I instantly told her all of the points you made and she said, "I agree." It made my day! Watched this video once again as soon as I could, I was blown away. The feels..

Riding horses isnt easy. Your feet need to be in a same position, your hands tightly holding reins,your back need to be straigh and shoulders too. Unfortunately, I have expirienced only one month of horse riding,due to my parents not being able to pay bcs it's really expensive. But that one month taught me that its not easy. While riding the horse on my own( without my trainer leading it), I felt so powerful. Riding majestic animal makes u feel amazing. So please dont say its easy, that it takes no skill or effort. Its dangerous,but equestrians risk their lives just so they can do what they love. I wish I could make my dream come true and ride horses again

AHHHH I love the original and this version, they are both absolutely amazing and convey my exact thoughts whenever someone dismisses riding as not being a sport, the only negative about this pertains to the remake (this video) I just felt like the words were coming and going really quickly and I had to watch the video twice, once to read and once to watch the clips, I am in no way trying to be negative (please don't take it that way I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS) I just thought you may like feedback.

OMG, amazing job on this!!!!!! Once I fell my old lease horse jumping a couse. I fell and ripped my knee. But I got back on a did the course again. Us Equestrians are strong, badass, and fearless!!!!!

God, i keep getting goose bumbs of this video ;-; I love it so much!

I remember I fractured my back after being bucked off a horse, 12 feet out and 8 feet up; landed on my side. If I had rotated anymore I would of snapped my neck and died right there. Instead of being in shock at what had happened or what could of happened, I took an Advil and road for another thirty minutes before actually seeing a doctor. We equestrians are hard core.

every single word spok e to me but 'speaking in silence' was so powerful. Everything was amazing too but as I am an equestrian I understood years back so I just nodded in agreement as the words went on but as an equestrian 'speaking in silence' got to me so imagine the non equestrians

Once i when to practice bec im a professional and i was practising for a show and um i went over a jump 20mph and my horse tripped as we landed i fell of and nearly broke my neck but that didnt stop me from giving up so a practised and practised till i achieved my goal and thats what equestrians do stand together

Once I fell off a galloping thoroughbred and was knocked unconscious by a pole on the ground. I stayed unconscious for around 15 minutes until an ambulance arrived. If I had landed on something other than sand then my fall could have been deadly, yet people still tell me that horse riding is only for little girls.

Everyone at my school is either into football or basketball,it’s always those sports we talk about. But you can’t die from these,yeah,maybe break a leg but horse riding,it’s about learning to trust and to keep going even if you know something bad might happen. I get this all the time at shcool, everyone who doesn't ride always says this to me, I just want to show them this as it says all my responses to what they say. horse riding is one of or the most dangerous sport ever, your not just making them do something without even speaking, but your constantly checking: am I on the right diagonal? is my seat ok? are my reigns to short/long? did he jump to soon/late? also your trying to stay calm because you know one mistake or one fall could risk both you and your horses lives. shcool: it's easy, you just sit there! me: ok, try it shcool (after ride): oh damn, this is hard me:...exactly and finally!

I have to wince each time I see a horse fall... People dont understand how unpredictable a large animal can be. One time Oliver was standing next to me in a dozing calm state and the next second he was galloping down the pasture! Now imagine if you had the lead rope wrapped around your hand (which you hopefully know not to do)!

My friend plays football right and she hurt her arm and was took off the pitch her arm was bruised,I fell off my horse and nearly dyed butI got back on and rode :football is a GAME horse riding is a SPORT 🐴❤️

My brother says that baseball is harder then this but I am like that is not true since we have teammates that do not even speak one word of our language. I am glad that I did a presentation about Riding since I mentioned that it is a super dangerous sport but we still do it! We are badass and tough unlike those crybaby football and soccer and baseball players, etc.

The clip where the horse kicked the guys head was completely the mans fault. If you have seen the whole video the man was following behind the horse and clapping to spook it. Then he like hit it or something which made the horse kick him in the face. Everything happens for a reason.

My friend is always saying that horse riding isn't a sport. I ask if she had been kicked by a horse, like me. She said "no, I've only ridden a horse once, but I have been hit in the face by a ball. Wow. That's so amazing. I keep telling my friend that when I get a horse she can ride it. But I'm gonna make him/her go really fast so she falls off. It's gonna be hilarious.
