Hey Adanna your videos definitely keep me on my path of meeting my goal to becoming a PA. Just yesterday I was discouraged by a Rn that I work with that I wouldn’t be able to do it. But your videos and your helpful advice keeps me going thank you.

I am not out of my undergraduate program yet but your videos are inspirational and for that I thank you. I was extremely nervous when deciding on this career and have been doing copious amounts of research on the topic. You have been a tremendous help with the tips and your experiences. Seeing you be able to accomplish this, as a father myself, shows me that my journey can be accomplished and that I will get into PA school. Keep up the fantastic work and again, thank you for the wisdom.

THANK YOU for making this! I got into a school that begins in May, but wait listed at my first choice which begins in August. Have just been twiddling my thumbs thinking I need to get a head start on everything lol but that's just me. This is so helpful!!! Keep up the great videos!

I know for med school, students take out loans for all life expenses....PA school is the same?

+Chaff LS yes it is. Pretty much most students take our loans to cover all their expenses.

I found my roommate through our Facebook group the school has. He’s in Michigan and I’m in Florida (our school is in south Florida.. still 5 hours from me). He seems cool and I’ve lived with so many roommates that I didn’t know before so hopefully everything’s good. :) two bedroom two bathroom so don’t have to even worry about sharing a bathroom. Oh and as far as clothes I asked a pa who just started working with us and she said she gets her cute pants from old navy. Literally like 20-30$. Not bad price. The pixie pants. Now it’s the tops. I’ll probably go to Burlington.

Honestly, I would say take an hour or so and go on Osmosis or Picmonics to study anatomy. Try to be prepared in that at least.

My fiancé got accepted into PA school. We will be getting married and May and he starts in July. Any advice on how to keep your marriage a priority and what are things that your spouse does that makes life as a student easier? Thanks!

+Virginia C I think I'm going to actually make a video about thus but honestly it's all about making time. You have to make sure and carve out time for each other as well as making sure you show/let then know you appreciate them. As far as making it easy, my husband does everything while I'm not home. I start off the day with my kids then one goes to school and the other stays at home with Ant. I'm still in class for another 2 hours when my oldest comes back from school so he takes care of them then and then when I get home I take over until bedtime. It's a ten effort but him stepping up like he does and not complaining or making me feel guilty for being in school or studying makes life a whole lot easier.

Adanna...I have two video ideas that would help me out. It might even go hand and hand into one video but could you find PA students with families? I'm aware you have a family, I just would like prospective on that topic. Secondly, what are some ways that PA students bring in income? Every school I'm looking into doesn't allow students to work. I've heard of babysitting as a possible source but it definetly wouldn't be enough to cover rent. Thanks in advance. I hope I'm not alone thinking about this 😉😉😉

Do you have any suggestions for a laptop? I'm thinking about Surface Pro Plus or Surface Pro Book... but I really don't have any idea. Thanks!!

+Patricia Maloney honestly I think you should ask the people that are currently in the program and ask them what their suggestions are because for me personally I know that currently I have an HP but it is not working the best for me because we take all of our exams with examsoft and you have to download that on to your computer so that it shuts everything on your computer down except for the test and it takes forever to load the exam on the HP. Everybody that has an HP it takes forever well anybody that has a PC it takes forever so I suggest asking someone currently in the program. I'm considering switching to a Mac because they fly through the sign in process.
