Been doing this job for 11 year, best time for me is winter with no rain. I get way too hot and sweat like mad 😂 refuse is better day. Bin, load, throw back and no side waste
It's an essential job and some people love doing it, others not. I worked as a loader. I did 11 years and wish I'd finished sooner. Enjoyed it for a bit at the start but the novelty wore off. Was thoroughly sick of it by the end, but some of that was down to working for a very poor employer. I was delighted the day I left. Moved on to better things, I don't miss it at all. There's another side to life, but it took a bit of finding. One of my colleagues suggested I do some part time study to improve my prospects of getting a job elsewhere, I took his advice and it paid off in the end.
