I really enjoy your videos especially catch and cook videos I loved the shrimp fritters from Southend l hope you carry on posting.I think you’re on to something with the catch and cook as it’s no something you don’t see much on RU-vid
Good to see you back!! Just went Mackarel fishing from the shore in Torbay, and there were tuna everywhere!! It was insane, one jumped in the air about 10ft in front of us at Berry head! We could see at least 20-30x tuna all over the bay jumping out. The local fishermen are pretty upset because it has changed the whole fishing environment! Fish are running for their lives! I had heard about the odd tuna out at sea off Cornwall, but never though it was this crazy.
SO pleased to see you back Paul, brilliant video. Keep em coming mate. I've made a big mistake by moving to Germany (family issues) I can't even get a fishing licence here😢 Sucks big time.
Hiya Paul, thinking about you the other day wondering if you are still around. I hope you are well over there, good to see some bluefin action over, didn't know you catch them there. Very popular here catching them at a place called Waihau Bay, catch big buggers too. And in Cornwall the home of my GG grandfather , Falmouth came here in 1839. Take care 🎣
Great to see you back, Paul. Since emigrating out here to America, I've been fishing for albacore. They range in size from 20lb peanuts to 50-60 lb lumps. As they're not classified as a local species off Oregon, we're allowed 25 per person. Catching 10 just about kills me now as I'm nearing 70. We bleed them and put them straight on ice to keep them fresh. The next day or so is taken up with cleaning them. My wife's likes to can at least 60 pints, it keeps us going until next tuna season. You'll never eat shop bought tuna ever again after fresh caught. It also takes a couple of days to clean out our fish holds and boat. The amount of blood draining out of the scuppers sure do attract sharks, specially those big Whites.
