Great interview! One of the best advice, in my opinion, came at the end: "stick to what you are good at while still learning, and conquer your mind in trading". Thank you for this honest assessment.
Another fabulous interview. I read Andrew Aziz’s beginner book and more than half way done with his second book for advanced traders and hope to read the one mentioned….the one with interviews of traders. If I can master software and simulated trading I will be on my way. What troubles me , though, is no one talks much about hedging. Many traders in the penny stock arena and utilizing Andrew Aziz’s techniques for larger seasoned equities take on considerable risk but never talk about or apparently utilize hedges. This bothers me. Still, if one can line up as many variables as possible and as Warren Buffett once remarked…..’Wait for the perfect pitch ‘ among the many thousands of stocks out there this should help increase odds of success. Dr. Aziz is a shrewd intellectual with many poignant insights and I am delighted to have learned from him. Dan.

Hi guys, I have a question. Andrew mentions that having a decent amount of capital like 100k USD is mandatory. However, if we reach the stage where on average we make 0.5-1% capital gains per day, can't we simply employ leverage?
just goes to show you that he is just another furu spitting platitudes about trading without real substance. "It's not possible with common shares" - makes absolutely no sense lol.. It all depends on a system and number of trades you take per year and risk per trade. That common shares comment was hilarious, what's stopping you from trading small caps everyday that don't require lots of BP? Also he gave example without even compounding profits.. Plenty of traders that IU interviewed achieved way more than 1% a day with common shares before liquidity issues started to happen. Want to hear advice from real traders? Then go and look for brian lee interview or something... Oh and another fun fact - one of his head traders/mentors in his chatroom was stupid enough to get caught paper trading like a year ago... Makes to question his legitimacy as well.. Rule of thumb - if you see a "trader" shilling his trading books and talk about "mindset" = run away as fast as you can.
