I really hope this game has good unit to mechanic synergy. What I mean by this is there are games that rely too much on Atk/Crits… which is boring rpg gameplay that gatekeeps progress for no reason. Then there are games like Path to Nowhere. Each of the B Ranks (blue) stay useful due to their breaking potential usually being stronger than S Ranks (gold). Balancing that allows you to have fun with your favourites. Reverse 1999 has stat buffs like leech damage, and PtN has true/magic/physical damage. Games with buffs live and die off the variety of builds. Also they can get more money by going ham with cosmetics. Path to Nowhere and Aether Gazer gets a steady stream of money via outfits.
Thanks for putting this out! I was in CBT1 too but didn’t use her. However I got her on launch, and was immediately into the aesthetic and health drain. I was confused by her kit, though, so your video was super helpful. I always watch your content for new PGR characters so it’s great to see you’re doing WuWa too - and a year early at that lol
@@asoretngl that sounds horrible, shields that give essentially super armor and like almost the full hp and last long is dumb, hopefully it's just damage reduction and maybe a little bit of stagger resist, no strong enough for you to face tank, but not weak enough that it gets broken in one hit, but two hits imo is good anything more is just dumb since it would be genshin all over again.
Wow this so cool Spider. She is probably the the only character that i totally can't figure out from her gameplay vids alone. Hope you can make more of these character pre-guide for other WW characters.
Just leaving this here. Normal = N Skill = S Inputs = # There are 3 ways to build 60 meter. This is the basic combo that most people will figure out in their first few minutes of playing. The order doesn't matter N2 S3 (20 meter) N3 S3 (40 meter) If you dodge counter you'll immediately gain access to her S2 so you can use N3 S3 to get 60 meter. For the most part, you can use N3 S3 and then figure out if you need to dodge or N2 S2 to get the last 20 meter. Since S1 skips the first normal attack and N1 animation cancels out of skill finisher hits, you can do the following combo for the fastest buildup. This would be useful for short dps windows. S1 N1 S2 (30 meter) > N1 > S1 N1 S2 This also leads into the 120 meter combo which is useful for longer dps windows. S1 N2 S3 (50 meter) > N1 > S1 N2 S3 > N2 S2 (or dodge counter).

I love her but she's a glass canon. Btw why did they changed her burst animation? She doesn't have that sfx in her eyes in the actual game. This is way better than in release. 😭😭😭
I'm interested to hear if the gatcha system is as bad as the rumors suggest. I would be very interested to hear your thoughts on what the F2P income and rates look like in this version of the game. I hope this game ends up being less greedy than Genshin and ToF. I liked both of those games but the monetization soured the experience completely.
At the moment the current gacha system is pretty much a 1-1 rip of Genshin, but not only has Kuro previously set a precedent with PGR (beta gacha was 1-1 of HI3), but also that some members have been rumoured stating that the current system in the beta for WW is just a placeholder, so there’s a good likelihood it will go more towards PGR style in the final release, especially so long as beta gamers and others ensure to let Kuro know we don’t want that system.
Hey Spider2B!! Since you played the beta for like a week now or something if you give the game a rating what is the score? And does the exploring the world fun? I saw the CBT’s And if you ask me I think the game is going into the right direction especially the combat and story…
It's kind of hard to judge since it's only cbt and there's a lot of missing features but if say a 6 in terms of game features, a 8-9 in terms of combat enjoyment.

This game is only good on pc, as for Smartphones: Iphone and Samsung are your only hope for a good gameplay 😢 My 4G ram phone will just turn off by itself.
Y’all, who agrees that in Wuthering Waves we are basically getting an easy to get Arlechino? Look at the 2 hit combo of Danjin and it looks like Arlechino’s skill. They also both drain hp for damage and heal it back.
