I appreciate the different perspective that you guys developed through your own experience. There’s A lot of videos repeating the same advice based on typical methods.
Excited to see the progress! Would love to see some outfit videos, kinda like the one where you picked each other’s out lol! But it could just be like 3 fits each that you guys like. Hope to see more great content !
Could you guys do a video about your favourite pieces of clothing aside from your jeans and shoes. Starting my own denim jacket collection and would be cool to see your favourite pieces in your wardrobes.
Did you using hot water? Something I never understood is that if you use cold water, it shouldn't shrink the cotton. Heat is what causes shrinkage, like a clothes dryer. Also, drying wet jeans on the body makes sense, because the body heat will help it mold and shrink to the body.
Good to see you back with a denim video! :) i made a similar video a few months ago, with a before and after of my 54z eheh beautiful pair of jeans, but the front pockets are so small!
I am a faithful Levi's fan... I only wear Levi's jeans. This video is all wrong.... Hot water and denim... No.... You do turn them inside out.... Washing Levi's denim jeans is a delicate process..... When shrinking to fit you must use cold water, lay flat, towel dry, out on wet, move squat and bend in them. Take them off and air dry ..... Washing them less, and wearing them more.... I guys did some of the opposite.... Those vintage Levis look amazing and are amazing on you all... Thankful that Levi's denim jean can be very resilient!
They won’t stretch Jackie, I had a pair, if they are too tight at the leg/groine area they will never be comfortable. I tried to break them in and was as waste of time
We try to only buy clothes and shoes we intend to keep forever/as long as they last. In the past we didn’t buy like that though so we definitely had clothes we had to sell that we no longer wore :)
LVC quality is pretty standard. Japanese brands definitely use higher quality denim and the construction is a lot more advanced. We feel like a denim collection isn't complete without a pair of LVC jeans though!
LVC Levis will shrink 2" on the waist and 2" on the leg length I have owned many pairs it's a simple rule always buy them two sizes bigger. PS forget the stupid nonsense of soaking them, just turn them inside out and was them, it's not rocket science.
@@JacandT, I wear it for 5 days in a week and 2 days "rest/indoor air drying". The fading process completed within 3 years before move to Naked and Famous.
