As cheesy as this may sound.. I always come to this video to remind my self to follow my dreams.. I've always loved the idea of flying and gliding seems be the best representation of the true art of flying.. I've never wanted anything as bad as I've wanted to take gliding lessons.. You my friend are amazing for making this video, and you are very lucky if you go gliding on a regular basis.. You're a true artist and quite a romantic awesome work... (nice song too)

Wonderful. Have you ever thought of making a movie about gliding ? You know, he is a pilot, he fixes the old airfield and old glider, then he takes her up for a ride and they fell in love, then some bad guy comes along who wants to buy everything and make it a mall or something, but then the community comes together and they prefer to keep their flying field because it brought back the old glory of their once-aviation-pioneering town, the end :)
If you really like it, do as I did: Google it and buy a copy. This clearly took a lot of work to produce, which doesn't come cheaply. I would expect that most of it was flying from Omarama, in the South Island of New Zealand. Flying there, in the Mackenzie Basin, is just superb - go there if you've ever the chance as it's been described as the best flying spot in the world. I love flying there.
I've done a fair amount of air to air photography and it's a lot harder than it looks. I'm sure most of that was done from cameras mounted on the outside of other gliders. However, i didn't see any gliders with cameras on them.
As far as I know this movie was made during a world championship in New Zeeland. They had helicopters with professional camera gimbals that flew around and followed the gliders on their track.
