Thank You Gary Sinise foundation it is an awesome thing you do for our Veterans, I love watching these Veterans telling stories, re living years ago there experiences in the war, brings me to tears every time.

My brother's godfather, "Uncle Rex" O'Meara was a forward observer before the Battle of the Bulge. When they asked for someone to volunteer for the duty his best friend volunteered AS LONG as Rex would go with him. Rex went, survived the war and was the funniest guy you could meet. Years later he & his wife had the honor of decorating the White House for Christmas more than once. R.I.P. Rex.
We can never forget the sacrifices made by our grandparents generation to defeat fascism. Our democracies are flawed and often corrupt but i hope Nazism and fascism never again seem as worthy alternatives to free thinking people.

Very off-topic but I just had to mention that. Stunningly gorgeous. Breaks my heart that within a few years the greatest generation (my heroes) will be all gone. We'll never get another generation of fine men and women like them!
