7:25 as someone who used to work at a fast food, the problem when it comes to us trying to listen to the customer. Sometimes its extremely difficult because you have some customers who park too far from the speaker box or the headset that we use to speak to the customers has low volume and you can’t turn it up. I understand it’s annoying for sure, but I remember when a customer was parked too far away and I was about to ask if she can drive through the next window so I could hear her properly. The manager told me to not do that and try listening again because apparently otherwise our speed of service becomes “slow” So eventually, I couldn’t understand and asked her to drive forward and the lady looked at me and started swearing at me telling me if I’m deaf and that I should get my ears checked. It sucks, I know. But blame the managers or the ceo for not replacing some of the broken headsets as well as not allowing us to allow some customers to come through the next window so we can hear them properly.

I was rewatching this and decided to look into why appoint isn't the opposite of disappoint, and apparently it's just the word evolving to have a different meaning. In late middle English, disappoint literally just means to deprive of a position, while appoint means to provide a position. But I guess over time, since being deprived of a position tends to discourage people, the definition slowly shifted to the current definition instead
