I discovered tool in 1993. I was full of teenage angst and whatnot. It took until 2024 to hear an acoustic version that will do it justice and be as memorable as it was in 1993.

Wow. Has Maynard responded to this yet? I’ve been a guitarist for most of my life. Doesn’t matter how good I am or will ever be, I don’t have ‘that thing’ that separates people like you from the rest of us. This only happens rarely. So cool on many levels. Other than just being executed so precisely and with the necessary level of intensity, you’re the next generation, and you’re doing something awesome with the music that made us pick up a guitar in the 90s. You have an Alanis Morrisette like flow with music, and projection. A great musician I crossed paths with once said “there’s a lot to be said for simplicity, and the space between.” I think you kind of embodied that sentiment. I hope doors open for you! Wicked skills.

Another awesome Tool cover! I think I said this on one of her older videos but I'm not generally a fan of covers. That goes all out the window for Summer Woods. She's the only one I get excited for when there's a new cover a song. It also helps that she does some of my favorite song by bands/artists I've been listening too for most of my life. Her original work is great too.
