Before found this band, the only band from Singapore that I knew about was Wormrot and Impiety At that time, when I was still in high school, in 2016 I was crazy about extreme metal music and explored more broadly metal bands that I didn't know about. In that year I found the band Wormrot who released a new album entitled "Voices", the album then became the talk of metalheads in various forums and media. I was curious about that band and I thought it might be a band from Taiwan, China or Japan judging by the logo. Uh, it turns out that this band is from Singapore, *a country where I didn't expect that there was a band playing there.* After I study in a college, I started listening to and receiving indiepop music from the recommendations of my friends. At first, I listened to bands/musicians from my own country's scene, such as Grrrl Gang, Bedchamber, Gizpel, etc. Then I was curious, how is this kind of music scene in neighboring countries, again Singapore has *always been left out of my musical exploration radar.* So far, in Southeast Asia, I always explore and compare music from the Philippines, Malaysia and Thailand, and found many good bands from there such as IV of Spade, Follows, Spaced out Kids, and others. Previously in 2019, a friend recommended me the band Subsonic Eye, I heard and enjoyed the music, *but I still didn't know they were from Singapore.* Until at the end of 2022, when I was exploring music at bandcamp, I found this Sobs band with their latest album titled "Air Guitar". At that time I immediately liked his music and vocals. Again, I had the exact same experience when I discovered the band Wormrot a few years ago, that is, I thought this band might come from China, Taiwan to Japan, but in fact *it came from Singapore.* Then I listened to your previous songs from Catflap, Astronomy to Telltale Signs. From this band, I know that the music scene in Singapore is also interesting and I also just found out that the band Subsonic Eye is also from Singapore, so I became interested in exploring music here and found other good bands such as Cues, Cosmic Child to Forests. Singapore which I used to missed out when exploring the music scene in my neighboring country, became my next exploration target, really a great band.!
