I think many people forget that when you play live there will be many challenges and obviously won't be as perfect as a studio recording. But that's the beauty and rawness of live performances. Go to more concerts and you will get used to it. This bands mix is still pretty good by many standards considering it's still a live performance
The mix is really bad. The soundman should increase the reverb and the bass of the vocal alittle. The volume of the lead guitarist is drowned out when the keyboard starts to play. The high of the high hat and cymbal needs to increase as well. The volume for lead and rhythm guitar need to increase by alittle, the bass just overpower them half the time.
You should manage you expectations, although not the best recording, keep in mind this is recorded from a moving train. What is featured here is the internet quality, which was delivered well.
Honestly the song wasn't bad in studio recordings. I think they just doesn't perform that well live, since the style is kinda mumbly and she doesn't enunciate that great, making it easy for poorly tuned instrument volume to drown her out. Feels like the disastrous mariah Carey Nye situation too. They were also kinda bad in the kexp thing they did.
I have to disagree with you. They perform OK live. What you perceive as "instrument-drowned" vocals is their style. It may not be for you, but you have to manage your expectations. You have to appreciate the creative talent these young musicians are putting off. In today's saturated music industry, it's becoming challenging to discover artists who possess creativity and talent. However, there is a niche within the vast music landscape that continues to produce hidden gems - indie bands. Sobs pour their hearts and souls into crafting songs with deep compositions, offering a refreshing departure from mainstream trends.
The moment when this live session band's was played through with the loudest loudspeaker People in Belakang Padang and Batam City : "Where the hell those strange sounds come from?"
This is good and bad at the same time. Mostly good! Obviously I don't have as much talent and am not well experienced enough to say anything. Maybe it's just my ear but it was nice ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Maybe this recording can provide an explanation of the terrible phenomenon that occurred in an area in Indonesia a few months ago in Batam and its surroundings to be precise. Some residents said that there was a strange voice of a woman singing in a sighing voice and scared the childrens Some residents on the island of Belakang Padang said that the voice came from "across the sea...". I was at the scene at the time and recorded it, and after I adjusted the frequency, it turned out to be true, the sound was coming from here, ah you just scared us. ha ha ha
