Thanks. Outside brackets are not modified but notice at the 8 min mark that the u-bolt goes over a 1/4 wall pipe tack welded to the axle. The Sammy axle tubes are thin so the extra pipe layer helps keep the tube from being bent. The main mod on the truss is at the center where I cut, shortened and rewelded below the housing. I did it this way instead of cutting the outer ends to avoid having to make threads. Do a search for skidplate/truss for a 78' Chevy K1500/K5 Blazer to get some different views of the bracket setup.

hey bro, i want to make just few things i watched on your Zuk setup, what sizes of tires are you running on that? its able to use front compressor for A/C trought any kind of installation and for onboard use? i got same Rocky Road Lower links, i think it could be + 9" lift on coil upgrade? i see many Samurais easy wheeling on trails, i thinking to built some sway like yours, it is different on front to rear behavior? mines got all same coil conversion, so it's the same setup as you were, i hope we can change opinions on built. btw that's a real badass Samurai, i love it.

Hey there Reinaldo. Thanks! Those were 35" tires. The compressor that I used was a Suzuki compressor. Possibly from a Sidekick. I just went to the wrecking yard and found one that moved air and that the clutch worked. The plumbing was basic. Just remember to add some type of oiler in the intake or it will eventually lock-up as well as a pop-off valve to prevent accidental over pressurization. You'll need some type of small receiver. I used the factory roll bar but I always left it empty when wheeling just in case i rolled it. It has the potential to explode if damaged. I did it but do it at your own risk. The Rocky Road links are good. Just make sure to keep the front slip joint lubed and loose or it will eventually fatigue and fail. As far as the lift, I had to add a 19mm Currie sway bar in the back to keep it from being too tipsy when trail running. It didn't seem to affect the articulation much and it really helped driving anything over 30mph. I could still lift any tire off the ground a minimum of 36 inches with the other three staying on the ground. Have fun! They are awesome little vehicles

@@David-pg9yp well, that's great buddy, i like it, i got mine rocky road outfitters same system on my Zuk, now running 33" TSL Swampers with Chromolium axles, this one, its just feels like it's too light, idk, maybe you called tipsy, maybe those sway links may add some stability, but it seems to be a common deal on lifted Zuks. hey, can i found u on FB? in that case, i can ask you few deals about Zuks, right now, i got mine on paint job

Hello Chestin. That build was a long time ago so I don't recall the actual size. I do know that they were the Doetsch long travels in the front and Bilstein in the rear
