Thanks for uploading this. Wonderful to hear Richard Meikle's voice as narrator. Brilliant radio actor and from what I've seen on the NFSA website he narrated quite a few videos like this in the 70s.
Great video...some magic names there from our game's history. Abonyi, Watkins, Baartz, Schaefer, Johnny Warren. Think I saw both a young Ron Corry and Frank Arok in the video too. Wonder who Frank Lowy was supporting in the Socceroos Vs Israel match ;-)
A bit of an anti Semitic comment there. Lowy is a Hungary born Australian. So according to your rationale do all Muslims that live here support Middle Eastern countries even if they are born here?
