Nicole Scherzinger visited #Kenya to make an appeal film for last night's Soccer Aid. She met 12-year-old George; who works and sleeps on the streets in Nairobi because home is not a safe place.
In Nairobi, 60,000 children are living or working on the streets, facing dangers like violence, disease and exploitation every day. No child should have to face dangers like this every single day.
The money raised from Soccer Aid will mean that Unicef can help more children like those Nicole met in Nairobi, Kenya, have a safe place to play, access basic education and healthcare, and somewhere to have hot meals. For example, just £5 could help feed a child like George for a week at a Unicef supported centre for children living and working on the streets.
Please give what you can and help use keep children safe at Unicef.org.uk/socceraid. The UK Government will double your donation, so we can reach even more children.
