Haha im here too but I dont get the hate. I mean hes not the best and messed up here and there but I liked the ending of scorpio rising even tho it was under heavy critic
This band is awesome, the lyrics have a bit of maturity to them and yet there’s such a youthful vibe. I can’t quite place it but they have a vibe that makes me nostalgic about the alternative music that was out in the early 200’0s.
It's funny seeing all these comments about the bassist and drummer since when I saw them last night opening for Slowdive they had completely different people playing bass and drums lol
Melting Pot yeah it was my first introduction to them and they were great!!! Really excited to her the new album now cause both the singles they’ve put out so far are amazing
That last performance....That was great. That guitar playing was flawless. It sounds easier than it actually is. It's not so much about _what_ you play, but _how_ you play what you do play. Control, inflection, timing. That gives the music depth, when done right (or well), as imo she has done here.
Great vid, really enjoyed it and well put together. If I could make one constructive criticism - the presenter needs to let the act speak more. I know its probably adrenaline and excitment, but let them speak and say what they know rather than bombarding them with your own info. x
Its a phantom teardrop, based off the old vox teardrop. Not to be confused with the old vox phantom, which had that angular coffin shape. And agreed, they sick af!
@@kingcobrajfsofficial in all fairness, he didn't specify the degree of hotness, merely implied that some hotness was at hand. Furthermore, the quite real and mensurable hotness also exhibited by the male musicians has been hitherto neglected. In conclusion I propose a full scientific ranking of all constituents party to the video thusly: 1. the interviewer, hotness 8.771 (Adj. for beard parity) 2. the bass player, hotness 8.65521 (Weighted) 3. sophie, hotness 8.35 (lead singer parity z69 included) 4. the drummer (cardinals shirt) 5. a shout-out to the hard-working audio engineers slaving away behind the scenes to bring you fresh content week after week. 6. all the wonderful people at fender guitars delivering quality for generations 7. SM-57, the industry standard; still phallic 8. You, the viewer. 9. 10. the other guy
I'm still sad i got to the Jay Som show at subterranean too late, i assumed they'd be on second so we showed up late. This band is fucking fantastic tho, I'm bummed they didn't play death by chocolate at audiotree.
Considering she was around 7 when From Under The Cork Tree came out I feel like the interviewer is coming from a completely different perceptive on the scene around that time.
Anybody got a read on the chord shapes she's playing on Alison? She was mostly playing barre chords before this, but these seem to maybe be in an alternate tuning.
