We live in a strange time. It feels like another game changer in my lifetime.
Hopefully some good can come out of it, with a global collaborative rethink about what we deem important, how we produce our food, climate change and all the other problems we and our children are facing in the immediate and long term future.
It was a very sad day for all concerned when NBN closed its doors recently amid the covid outbreak and lockdown in the UK.
It seems an insignificant thing given the epidemic and its only been a few short days, but we are already missing our little mountain bike heaven. This coming precisely at the moment that wettest winter in recent memory is over, after months and months of winter maintenance, drainage and improvements by the colonel and the boys, and now spring is very much in the air and the trails are as good as they've ever been! And we can't ride!
We are also missing our loyal members and friends that make our club what it is today. You guys and your consistent support for what we are trying to do means a great deal indeed.
We hope to be able to invite you all back at some point, the colonel has even suggested a BBQ! (raised eyebrow emoji) but we will just have to wait and see for now.
Stay Safe, look out for each other, and we will see you again...
