Here's a funny story-- many years ago, when my dad was still with us, I played this tune. It is called Devil's Dream. It's an old fiddle tune I was playing on my mandolin. Now, my dad was a super religious man. It took him a lot of years to find a church he liked and it ended up being a super conservative fundamentalist church. Well, he really liked this tune and he hummed along with me as I played it. After I finished playing it, he said, " son, that's a great tune, I really liked it, what's the name of that tune?" I told him it's called Devils Dream. His smile turned to an instant frown and all he said was, "Oh" and turned away. I guess he thought the devil shouldn't have such a beautiful tune named after him. I never played that tune again when my old pop was around.
Wow! Amazing voice & instruments ! Much better that Reno & Smiley back in the day. Send the banjo picker to "Banjo Repository 1" he is very good, IF he could rework the songs there it would be a much better video of Alphabetized banjo tunes than I have made, Thanks.
@@BenScales Well that's a shame, the sound is amazing especially out in the open and not in a studio. So very professional, what a beautiful sight to see, a band on the porch!
