Eevi, I wanted to have blue badge on my Facebook account and turns out we have to pay a monthly subscription to Meta 😢 and I can’t do it right now. Do you use Facebook? Do you think blue badge is worth it? Or would you recommend any other platform instead of Facebook? I dislike social media so much I never used anything else.

Hi Ollie! Yes, unless we have a large number of followers, we will have to pay for the blue badge. I would recommend choosing the platform that you personally prefer and use the most. That will make it much easier and more fun to post regularly.

I just found you! My best friend and I are writing a children’s book series about a child with Hydrocephalus. I was born with Hydrocephalus, and I want to give children with Hydrocephalus something I didn’t have. We are trying to figure out the right way to get it published.

How do you handle internet trolls and scammers having access to your social media? The internet seems dangerous this regard. This is very helpful advice. I’ve been published for years and have not grown my social media.

Hi Malene! I'm so happy you found one of my videos. Other than blocking those who have been unkind, there isn't much we can do, if we want to publicly share about our work. Sadly, scammers and spammers are all over these days. Try to simply ignore them. There will always be unkindness, but we always have the power to focus on those that leave kind and supportive feedback and comments. I so hope this helps, Malene!

I'm so happy to hear this! I'd say whether or not we keep our social media accounts separate would depend on your own preferences. Alternatively, we can also just use one platform for personal use, and one for public use. For example, I mostly use my FB for my friends and family, and my Instagram for author-related posts. I so hope this helps!
