We are discussing the details here in this video because as of recently, the Social Security administration has been announcing multiple changes to the SSDI and SSI programs. Both of these benefit programs are administered by the Social Security administration and benefit check to millions of beneficiaries each month. That’s because, the bill still hasn’t been done yet, and, the blame comes back right on Biden for not doing anything to act on it! And, even once Biden were to sign the Reform Bill into law it wouldn’t take effect right away because, Social Security is A Separate Government Entity and, it would then, be at the Discretion of The Social Security Administration and, again it wouldn’t start till the end of a year going into a new one,keep in mind they would have to update their system and, as always they will send us a letter through the mail first before, it would start,giving us all the information with the start date!

I worked 10 years, married 11 to 12 years ionly getting SSI, i need SSDI. I wasn't making much at work those 10 years.

Working 10 yrs that for one is not near enough time put in to get SSDI! Just cause, you want it doesn’t mean you get it, and, people that get SSDI Disability put in more than 10 yrs of work time, so, why would you think your entitled? Guess what? Your not? Then, there’s the fact of your age! The amount of yrs you were married, that only counts towards your Social Security Monthly Benefits but, you must be 62 yrs of age! You are not privileged and, you have to wait just like the rest of us that have to wait for those certain benefits! So, get over yourself!

Our checks had been decreased by 95.00 now the JFS said they are taking my food. How can you / i increase my SSI check due to losing EBT ⁉️

You don’t understand at all! You get a COLA increase on your SSI for the new year the majority of the time, when, we get a increase in the COLA which for SSI Recipients starts on December 31st going into the New Year which you receive a award letter the beginning of December each year telling you what that amount will be! So, because, you got that raise on your SSI monthly check went to being $943 from $914 come January 2024 you lost a little bit on your monthly SNAP Benefit! You did not lose $95 a month on your SSI, that’s a false statement and, an untrue fact! Then, come the month your rent goes up and, you then, will do a re-certification with the DFC/ The Department Of Family And Child Services and, a couple months ago we took and got another cut, a couple months after, I had my recertification, and, they done another one a couple months later and, they made a cut of another $10! But, come Oct. the Federal Government Of Human Resources Services Will Do There Yearly COLA for Monthly SNAP Benefits! I suggest getting of off You Tube and Facebook and, use your device as tool to do your research and, learn to gain some common knowledge and, then, learn to know some of the basic facts behind what you are getting rather than making comments like this that you know nothing about! In short start paying some attention to your paperwork then, you would actually know what is what! 21:25

But, why do you think people on SSI are entitled or privileged when, they aren’t! People on SSI are getting it and, your government is simply sympathizing with you and, give you one monthly benefit after another so, you can manage to live, I get it because, for now, I have to be on SSI! People on SSI did not pay into the system! People who get Monthly Social Security Retirement Benefits paid into the system and, therefore, they have earned everything they got coming, they are privileged and, entitled because, they worked all those yrs for what they get every month! So, stop assuming and do your research before, you make the comment and, learn some common knowledge and facts! 21:25
