Walmart has snowflake buttons that look very similar to what you used. They have other cute decorative buttons that are great to apply to these types of crafts.

I like to use black puffy paint for eyes and mouth and orange puffy paint for nose and a little pink blush with a Q-tip for the cheeks

Hi Jody, your snowmen are adorable! I've been making them for years and they remind me of real snowmen because each one is unique. One thing I do sometimes that you may want to try is put on arms made of brown or candy cane pipe cleaners. I just use a piece that I bend to look like an arm and twist a shorter piece on to create a hand. Then you can put a pom pom snowball, a tiny bird, a cand cane, a sign, etc in the hand. It just adds another dimension and make a them even more unique. I made one for the crossing guard at my kids school years ago holding a stop sign, lol. Merry Christmas!

Yep, cute, cute, cute! And unbreakable, too. I may have to make one but it might be after the holidays! I hope you get a new camera for Christmas. Not too much more of a wait. It must be very frustrating to lose footage. Glue gun-wise, check out the Surebonder CL195F. It is a mini, high temp precision tip corded/cordless gun with a safety fuse, side fins, small drip pad, on-light indicator, etc. It allows for 2 minutes of gluing time before it needs to be put back into the dock. No batteries. Cost is $16.99 which isn’t that expensive considering all its features and crafters who have it say it only dripped a little the first day of use and stopped dripping after that. Probably AC Moore might have carried it if they stayed in business. Still haven’t gotten my holiday decor out! 😬❄️☕️⛄️

This is perfect. I have my little granddaughters make a little present for their parents every year, and this will fit the bill. (We live a mile away from each other, so mommy and daddy get a gift from the bobbins when we see each other on Christmas). I’m also a crafter, so I have buttons, google eyes, all kinds of little things, whatever they see in their heads lol. I crochet too for a little scarf if they want, but the little hat? Perfect. OMGoodness I love these!! I made some last year!! I added some essential oil to the rice so my snowmen smelled good too!! I used orange fabric puffy paint for the nose and I also used a tad of actual blush for their rosy cheeks!

I love these little guys. You now need a new glue gun for Christmas.

I made one, but being a sewer. . I sewed everything because I have no glue gun or no glue when I was making it and my elf was adorable. My 4 year old grandson asked me to make him a big one he could sleep with. So naturally grandma made him a doll size elf. Fo him to sleep with duoxmas season! My now 2year old granddaughter is wanting one for her bed. So grandma has to go buy more fabrics to make another one! (What grandkids wants grandma makes!) how can I not? Right??

I LOVE THE EARBUDS for noses! BRILLIANT! I bought the stuff to make these last year and didn't because I didn't know what to use for noses The ones online were too big. I thought about clay ones but I didn't feel like clay would really go with as much cloth as these snowman are. Squishy foam ones! Those are such a great idea! Thank you!

When making your pompon instead of wasting fabric why don’t you just cut through the loops. I just cringe when there is waste. 🥰

Hey just a cute when pouring your rice in the sake use a plastic bottle cut it in half turn it upside down with the part that you would drink out put it in your stocking hold it really tight and now it's a poor and you won't pour on everywhere really cute tip for you it works for me I really like your snowman cute idea been doing them forever too and I would make gnomes out of them too have a good love from Missouri

If people r afraid of bugs coming into The rice put bay leaves in The bottoms and top of snow men. Those bugs dont like bay leaves!

I use poly fill and I put a few small pebbles in the bottom to help it sit better , when I use rice eventually some of the rice ends up in the body, and you dont have to worry a about bugs!
