“SOCO” reenacts how then 14-year-old “Jackie” survived a traumatic and nearly fatal robbery incident on July 18, 2011. “Jackie” recounts the night her former co-worker Gary Magbanua slit her throat and stabbed her twice after bringing her to a dimly lit vacant lot in Barangay Sibul, San Miguel, Bulacan. Barangay Sibul resident Eugene Gabriel talks about the time they found crime survivor “Jackie” lying and bleeding on the side of the road. Former San Miguel, Bulacan PNP chief Ret. PS/Supt. Marcos Rivero gives information about the murder weapon, pieces of evidence, and “Jackie’s” testimony that linked Magbanua to the crime. Later, “Jackie” shares what she felt over the court’s decision to sentence the suspect to only eight years in prison.
