From just the drum groove intro alone, you'll be able to tell and decide that you're going to be listening to Soda Blonde for a lifetime. Kate Bush meets Cannons meets Tennis. Fizzling.
Younger viewers might not recognise the actor & actress who appear at the end of the video: they are John Wayne & Maureen O'Hara who starred in three films together, including "The Quiet Man" which was filmed in the west of Ireland. Ms O'Hara was born in Ranelagh in 1920 - she became the, so-called, Queen of Hollywood.
Great band, brilliant front singer. Saw them in Limerick a few weeks ago. A unique sound. At one point Faye comes down into the audience with the guitarist and launches into an accoustic set, and everyone just circling around enjoying. Man alive, that was poetic.
🙌 TERRIBLE HANDS LYRICS: You stay out all night I know cash is king Why my surprise I just don’t know You never ever get me home You call her my name Christening my jealousy Fumble the edges of this skin I guess I thought it was our thing You know And your hearts in mine but you tell me all the time I’m in Terrible Terrible Terrible Hands Oh I’m in Terrible Terrible Terrible Hands You tell me some heavy shit Your eyes roll back into your head a bit I think you know to some degree I’d take the bad parts of you over the good of me Uh Oh They say I’m a joke and it’s sad because I know I’m in Terrible Terrible Terrible Terrible Hands Oh I’m in Terrible Terrible Terrible Terrible Hands #SodaBlonde #TerribleHands #NewMusic
This is one of those addictive songs that only appear once in a while. Can't stop playing it since I heard Shay Byrne play in early one morning on RTE radio 1. Fayes' voice is incredible. Looking forward to more from this band
A subreddit posted this awesome video of Irish singers doing a cover of “dreams” together, and Faye just stood out among the rest. I looked her up and found this amazing band! I’m obsessed
Wonderfull song. Faye has a very original voice and is a great singer. Band are each excellent musicians in their own right and production is also excellent. Should be huge deserve every success and wish the band every success.
I too first heard this on Shay Byrne's rising time programme and think it's incredibly poweful . I was trying to describe it to others but thought I had heard terrible man not terrible hands .Anyway it's just fantastic .

Beautiful song, your vocal is amazing, brilliant chorus, one criticism, the drum sound is awful, even more so when the snare comes in, sorry for the comment, but I love this so much and think it effects the song overall.
